The people working there were extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the rustic appeal of the hotel, but I was happy to see the modern bathroom facilities.

Difficult to carry suitcases up the steps. Not knowing exactly where the hotel was located, driving to it the first time through narrow roads was difficult.

It was so authentic. The location is amazing, right in the center of everything. How often do you sleep in a 500 year old house. It was also the first time in ages the host carried my bags up stairs for me. Behind the house are the stairs leading to the Burg. What a view. If you are looking for something modern go to a hotel. If you want a real experience come here. Breakfast served in the wine cellar was terrific. That is also open but not every day. My room was among the rooftops. Loved it.

If you are unable to do stairs, this would not be for you. Parking is off site but the host let me park outside until the lot was less crowded. Over night parking cost me 3.50 e and a short walk.

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff is kind and accommodating, and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a historic building in the main town square. It’s the perfect location for being able to walk to everything. The city museum and the castle are both a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was great, and offered a nice array of choices. You will probably struggle for a while to find the hotel when you first arrive because the signage isn’t good, but it will all be worth it! I highly recommend visiting the village of Miltenberg, and I highly recommend staying in this hotel. My dad and I loved it, and we wish we had stayed a third night. Miltenberg was our first stop after picking up the rental car at the Frankfurt airport, and it was a great way to start our first trip to Germany!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel! As I mentioned earlier, we struggled for a while to find it (even when we were standing right in front of it!) because their signage isn’t clear. It was totally worth the effort though!

Felt amazing living in an ancient and one of the most photographed buildings in Miltenberg. The Hotel is located adjacent to the church and a stone throw away from the Main river. The suite was beautiful with a quaint covered balcony. Everything about the place felt really old and historic. Breakfast was good. The staff were very nice. Would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in Miltenberg.

Would have been nice to have some locking arrangements for the bathroom doors.

Enjoyed my stay in this historic building on the pedestrian square of charming Miltenberg. Depending on which room you have you need to watch your head on the beams! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

The WiFi was quite slow. The bells on the church next door rang quite loudly at about 0615. You have to park a few blocks away and walk up a cobblestone street with your luggage. Honestly to me these were all a small price to pay for staying in a cool old building!

Gorgeous old building in the centre of the old town. Our room looked out onto an alley with another old building opposite. We could see the Green man carved in the the apex of the Fachwerk. Cosy room. Beautifully clean. Lovely towels.

Maybe some new pillows? But we’d go there again.

The location and views are perfect. I highly enjoyed the traditional interior. The breakfast tasted great as well as the dinner.

Some cleanliness issues, particularly with my blanket but it wasn't enough to make me ask for another. Although breakfast was great I was surprised it wasn't a buffet as advertised. The staff handed me a menu and I could choose what I wanted. This was perfectly fine, just not expected. The only thing I didn't like the most was no dessert option. I was so sad, but even some of the other restaurants near by didn't have a very good dessert menu...

Exactly what we had hoped for when visiting a small German village. Hot breakfast prepared by owner/chef. Dinner menu limited but meals we choose prepared with perfection. Owners and staff welcoming and helpful. Hope to return on another visit. Town is quintessential German small village.

Some stairs to reach it and a few inside to room as well but I managed even at age 80.

Overall it was good. Cute nook in one of our rooms. Fun eating area. Friendly staff. Great location for a gorgeous hike to the castle just above it.

Found several bugs in both rooms. Bathrooms weren't well lit. Don't like dealing with a physical key to my room that's tied to a little chunk of wood.

I know it’s an old structure, but I expected it to be more clean. Room looked like it had not been dusted (lamps and shades along bed) and found other’s hair in clumps in corners of bathroom and around base of bed. Yuck.
