Nice hotel, clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, free parking. Possibility of self check-in and check-out. Decent breakfasts, although not many vegetables.

What surprised me was the lack of the option to make coffee or tea in the room (no kettles). The only option was to pay (coins only, not by card or banknotes) at a vending machine in the reception area for a hot drink. Also, the machine didn't give change, so when we put in €4 (our last coins), it turned out we had to add another €1 to get another drink, or leave the €1.50 in the machine. That was the most shocking and completely pointless thing. I would have preferred to pay €10 more for the room and not have to go down three floors for tea while wondering where to get coins

Beautiful hotel based on solid pine - traditional Bavarian setting. Good breakfast. Easy automatic check-in using a machine if you arrive late. Very large rooms. Modern bathroom. Will be back when visiting the area

Hotel Alpenrose is a nice hotel near the Austrian border and the highway. I stayed for one night on my way to Italy. The room was very spacious and clean. The personnel was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. It was also possible to use the charging station for charging my electric car. Also the breakfast was good.

My room had a large roof window. As it was raining during the whole night, it was very noisy.

Even though I was one of few guests having breakfast due to the off-peak season, a lady in the canteen was very friendly and welcome me with freshly cooked scramble egg and freshly brewed coffee.

Comfortable hotel in nice setting and a short distance (less than) 5 minutes from the village centre. Ample car parking. Lift.

Good undercover bicycle storage in unlocked garage. The balcony off our room was a bonus. Extra blanket on a cold day/night. Generally quiet area.

Front desk often unattended. Glass coffee table in our room not easily visible and frequently bumped into.

The view was amazing and so was the location. The hotel looked great and clean. The food (breakfast) was very good. Good parking facility.

The beds were old and the mattresses have not been changed in a long time. It felt like my body was arched the entire night.

Place looks great, there's a sauna free for guests to use, breakfast is very rich and rooms are nice and comfy. 10 min walk from center of the city where the restaurants are.

The staff made a mistake with the reservation and instead of solving on their own or in a respectable manner with us, they blamed us and demanded we pay extra quite rudely. When they realized their mistake they didn't update or apologize for blaming us, which left a sour taste of the human experience of the place, but the property itself was still a nice place to stay at.

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I found it a bit expensive for the location.
