The hotel is very close to the train station (less than 5 mins walk) and about 15 mins to the old town. The staff are exceptionally friendly and, in a first for us, there is free ice cream on offer, as well as tea, coffee, beer and soft drinks. Breakfast was excellent with much local produce. We stayed for one night in Oldenburg to split a journey from Rotterdam to Lübeck, and we're really glad we did. Lovely town even though the weather wasn't brilliant. We will definitely stop again if heading for Northern Germany or Scandinavia.

The only issue we had was no coffee at 6:30 to help wake us up

The location, which is 5 minutes walking from the main train station and also 5-10 minutes walking from the city center. The breakfast is very good, with fresh products and the staff is very friendly. I want also to underline that the hotel offers FREE drinks (water, sparkling water, beers, etc.). There is also easy parking in front of the hotel for those who come by car.

Nothing, all good! I'd appreciate if there was a gym available to exercice a bit, but a walk next to the river is also a good alternative.

Everything ! The rooms are beautifuly decorated - as is the breakfast room. Staff so helpfull. ( we met elderly German relatives at the hotel and met with them in the lounge and was given complimentary coffee and biscuits - thankyou) location is ideal with a pleasant walk of 12.mins into centre of Oldenburg along the river. ( just turn right at the river not left) A great selection at breakfast - scrambled eggs were delicious. Very very clean. Couldnt fault it. would definately stay again. Also free parking. Lady at the reception was really nice, she spent with us few minutes, answered our questions, recommended us very good restaurant in city center. We really appreciated free ice cream and soft drinks (incl. beer) and coffee. The meeting room on the third floor was also really nice. The beds were really comfortable and big. Breakfast room was warm and sunny. Breakfast menu was really good, everything was fresh.

We didn´t find the beautifull picture of the owners with animals, which is on the website. :)

I liked so much. The welcoming staff and the explanation of the over-the-top provision of treats like beer, soft drinks and ice cream which is all there to help yourself at no extra charge. They even found me a privileged, secure spot at the back door of the hotel for my motorbike. The room was really nice and the effective cold air blower proved a boon in the hot temperatures.

Some temporary road works at the front but they will shortly be finished.

Very small piece of soap in wash basin Towel on quite a high rail- I could reach but my less-tall colleague said she found it difficult.

The hotel provides free coffee and cake in reception, free ice cream and free soft drink or beer to drink in your room. The bedroom was large and very quiet. The car park was large. The receptionist was helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast had a wide selection, with choice of filter coffee or from a coffee machine. Location was superb, with a short walk along the river into beautiful Offenburg with its excellent restaurants and shops.

Close to central train station. It took less that 5 minutes walking distance. Room was quite basic, but ok for a short stay. Breakfast - not a super selection, but everything was delicious. There is a fridge on every floor with drinks and even beer free to enjoy.

Soundproofing - I could hear everything in next rooms. Location is little bit remote. It takes ~10 minutes walking to reach old city part.
