Great location if you need a pitstop, ample parking, loads of space to walk your dog. Really good breakfast, that's value for money and we enjoyed the Angus beef for dinner in the Kaisenwerk restaurant, perfectly cooked! Rooms are fun with themes but a little old. One of our beds was a bit broken and you could see they tried to patch it up, so could sleep okay on it but it was sloping a bit! Kettles in the room with tea are great. I imagine it's more fun in the summer with the pool and nature around, but as a pitstop on your way great all year round, and excellent value.

While the food in the restaurant was good, service for dinner was very slow, and the staff serving us didn't speak any English which led to some miscommunication due to our limited German.

Friendly staff. We got a Safari room, the room is tastefully decorated, they paid attention to the tiny details on decorations even on the floor. Beds are big and comfortable. Recycling bin in the room, first time seeing this in hotels, great idea! Lovely features at different corners of the hotel. Kids love the babyfoot table in the lobby. Nice breakfast! We were surprised to be taken to a table with my name written on a card, as we didn't make reservations for breakfast. These tiny gestures made us feel very special.

Really only tiny things, we love the hotel... Lots of mosquitoes in the bathroom. They have a screen on one of the windows but I wonder if they open the bathroom window while cleaning. Missing bathmats, would be nice to be able to dry our feet stepping out of shower.

Great location for a stop over as part of our holiday driving through Europe. The rooms were themed which was a huge hit with the kids. We stayed in the beer barrel room with a huge beer barrel for a bed and fold out beds to make the room suitable for four people which was great! The hotel reached out to us ahead of time so we could choose the room we liked in advance 👍 The breakfast was fantastic with an egg bar and automatic pancake maker which was also a big hit with the kids.

My kids absolutely loved the billiards table in our family room—they had a fantastic time playing both in the evening and the morning! The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a chef preparing scrambled or fried eggs with bacon on request. There was also a great selection of high-quality breakfast items to choose from.

The breakfast is very reasonably priced for adults, but it would have been great to have a discount for children, as they tend to eat less.

Beautiful hotel in an old farm building. Excellent pool that my kids loved. We stayed in the Billiards Room with 5 single beds (though more were available) and our kids loved that we could play pool for free. Clean room, good shower, nice quiet location. Staff were great. We did not try the breakfast as it was outside of our budget. Grocery store within a 10 minute drive. Train tracks right beside the hotel but we didn’t hear them at all. A lovely one-night stay as we passed through. This would be a fabulous wedding venue!

It’s a family and exceptionally dog friendly hotel with kind staff and personalised rooms. The pool was fun and breakfast exceptionally good, with an omelette chef and a pancake machine 🥳 . The only minus was the restaurant that only served a big (and expensive) buffet in the evening. For those hoping for a smaller snack there were no options available in the area.

Nadja, the receptionist, was so friendly and helpful. We had the pool/billiard room, which was fun. And the room got completely dark once we figured out it had a blind outside that we could close from the inside. Would have loved to stay longer to try the pool.

Didn't try the restaurant, and the breakfast looked great, but wouldn't be good value for us, because the children eat very little. For adults I think the price is more than fair, though

Very lovely resort and hotel middle of the countryside. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Fun themed rooms. Even gave us welcome drinks as we were arriving late travelling all day.

Could have had more orange juice on breakfast. Railway line close so some noise from that when windows were open overnight.

The themed rooms and pool were amazing! We stayed in the boxing room which had a boxing ring for a bed!

The remote for the TV in the room was broken and the shower head had come loose spraying water everywhere, but just screwed back on and it was fine. Dinner was quite expensive.

The room we had was comfortable and we loved that they even put a little corner with a blanket amd bowels for our dog. Everybody is welcoming, there's lots to do and my son even made use of the free train ticket. Breakfast was delicious, too. We'll certainly be back.
