The hotel complex covers a big territory, so it's all about the room (floor, view etc.). The location itself is not central (which is a benefit in my opinion), but it's right on the first line, 2 min from the beach and the promenade lane, surrounded with huge pines. We were lucky to get a wonderful 3rd floor room in Ostseeperle, building #3, facing the park with a sneaky peek at the sea between the trees. Clean, super cozy and quiet. Our room with a small kitchenette was of a good size and had a balcony. There's a pool, a restaurant, a playground and some other extra services on the premises that we didn't use. A bus stop and a supermarket are a few min away. Highly recommend. PS. As always many rooms are facing not that spectacular sides, like a parking lot or a building in front. So be prepared or send an email beforehand asking for better view if possible. The toilet flush was a little weak, but it worked :)

We were offered a quiet room and extra blankets at request. The room was spacious and fully equipped. Very generous breakfast - lots of options. Good coffee as well!

Parts of the hotel looked outdated. The sauna closes at 7pm (guests are not allowed after 6pm), also on closed on Sunday. As the weather is often unstable around there, it would be great to have to possibility of enjoying sauna on a Sunday.

First of all, the location was very good, and there is enough equipment in the room for you to cook yourself. The price is very reasonable compared to the surrounding facilities.

We were three people and one of us had a single sofa bed. It was not comfortable at all. When a 165 cm tall adult lies down, his/her feet are longer than the sofa bed. This was not comfortable at all.

IFA Rügen Ferienpark is a resort with every thinkable facility. Indoor pools for the rainy day, but for the sunny day the perfect beach only 75m with no road between. Safe for children and the elderly. Perfect buffet for your meals. Nice promenade all the way to Binz, 500m.

I can not think of anything negative.

This hotel had it all - a pool, indoor/outdoor bar, restaurant, games area, and situated right on the beach. The room was comfortable and well appointed, other than not providing coffee/tea facilities in the room.

We were the youngest there (and we aren't young). It appears that during the school holidays the hotel and area are popular with families because of the wide range of facilities on offer, and in the non-holiday period - when we visited - the hotel and area are popular with bus-loads of more mature-age people who go for the healing sea air. We only ate at the buffet restaurant once as, while it covered most tastes, the mains were bland. I suspect that was due to the main clientele they had to cater for. Eat at nearby Binz.

Great location, right on the beach. The corridors are outdated, even smell peculiar, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. I really liked the separate, lockable bike storage, which made our lives much easier. The relatively large 2-level parking lot is very useful.

It almost always smells of cigarettes at the bike locker, which is very unpleasant, because the staff has their own smoking area there.

If you'd like to live almost at a sandy beach, but with the luxury of a hotel, this is a great start. A short 15-min drive or so to the fast ferry to/from Sweden, the IFA Rügen makes for a good stop over as well. The adjacent complex with small swimming pool, restaurant and a few other distractions for all ages. Typical for the 1980s and 1990s, but still in excellent condition for those who like it. The room was spacious and thanks to the small kitchen and closet space would make a long stay convenient too. Cycling routes start just outside, the car park is a few euros per day.

About the only thing I didn't like was that the tourist tax was charged upon checkout - I think this would have been better being done at check-in, and the fact that the swimming pool was closed when we stayed - this was a deciding factor to choose this place

It's in a quieter part of the town - which defo i s a big plus. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean with extra cleaning each day. Hotel is rather old, but you kinda dont feel like its negative. Beach is like 1 minute away.

Breakfasts. Definitely hoped to see more veggies.

We spent Easter Weekend here and this hotel was really above my expectations! We booked apartments with kitchen and separate sleeping room, and got realy spacious apartments with two balcons , two beds and also couch that fits two people ! We felt very comfortable here . Beach is next to apartments , city center is 20 min walk along lovely promenade . It has delivery of fresh bread for breakfast, great aqua park, billiard , aero hockey, restaurants, bars , indoor/outdoor playground , kids club , kids disco , disco , bars , mini-golf, ping-pong, gym , sun terrace , animation ... there. So all what you need when traveling with kids :) I was feeling a bit like in Malloca ! So thank you very much for great long weekend and I think we will come back soon!
