Overall the place is great. The single room was clean and comfortable and had enough space to settle in. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and it was nice that they provide activity recommendations for the day at each table each morning. It's right in the center of town and is very convenient for visiting all the shops, sights and to catch the bus. I ate 2 dinners in the hotel restaurant which were fine, but nothing exceptional.

The building is a bit disjointed which made it a bit of trek through a labyrinth of halls to my room, but not a big deal. It was very hot while I was there and a small room fan would have been nice, but again, no big deal. The carpets in the hallways were or seemed to be very dirty and worn but otherwise the hallways were clean.

Breakfast room was pleasant and the food was good and plentiful. The location of the hotel is central to all of Seiffen, and the hotel's restaurant, where we ate dinner twice, had a large and varied menu, and a pleasant wait staff.

The maids knocked on our door to start cleaning our room, pretty much on their schedule and not ours. We had to tell them to wait, twice. The parking area in front of the hotel was small and often full. The parking option is to park up the steep hill in a public parking lot about a quarter mile away from the hotel.
