The location, staff and breakfast was good. The room was clean and good, with all that you need in the hotel. The design of the hotel is like an old traditional house, witch we found very nice.

The beds creaked with every movement. The bathroom with shower were in front of the bed, with transparent glass doors. So if you want to enjoy how your roommate/spouse going to the toilet or showering, it is your hotel. We had two rooms. So during the day, we were in one room, and using the bathroom from the second room. Bad soundproof, we did wake up because someone blew their nose in the next room, and was filling like it was in the same room next to us. In the stairwell, the smell of cigarettes soaked into the carpet.

This property has been operated by the same family for 160 years. Mrs. Krehl warmly greeted us upon arrival and made us feel at home immediately. She has a very fun sense of humor. The staff is friendly and efficient, all with beautiful personalities. The breakfast has something for everyone but the dinner’s are totally amazing. We loved our room on the top floor and it seemed like we were staying in a treehouse with the beautiful foliage outside our windows.

Love that it’s not a franchise hotel. Great hospitality and love the traditional vibes. There is a restaurant on location that is excellent and cute courtyard to enjoy when weather is nice!

The location is a bit of a challenge for parking. Fees can be on the higher end at the parking garage next to the hotel (not a part of the hotel). There is a bus station near the hotel that would be ideal but you still have to pay parking fees and then a bus pass if you leave your vehicle to travel by bus.

Warm welcome. The owner of the hotel booked for us the dinner at their excellent restaurant. There was a special menu for hotel guests (with cheaper prices). The food was excellent. The room was very confortable.

There is no parking space and to find one is a bit challenging. The breakfast was very good but the service was a bit arrogant: the guy was asking what kind of coffee we would like and was a bit in a rush, if we said tea he was like "Then serve yourself here I am asking for what coffee you want." He sat us the family of three with other two people at the small table. At the check out he asked about the minibar and was unpolite for waiting for us to answer what did we take from the minibar like we were doing something illegal. There is no lift in the hotel but it is understandable since it is an old house.

Beds were pretty uncomfortable and also the pillows. Bathroom has transparent door which doesn’t fully close, so it can be embarrassing for the one using it… and unpleasant for the one outside :/

Quiet area of the city. not very far from the city center. Near the metro station and train. The room is not large, but clean. conveniently that check in can be sent at any time.

Unfortunately, on Saturday and Sunday breakfast is served only from 8 am. If you have a run-in you may not have time to have breakfast before the road. I enjoyed my breakfast.

Staying at the Krehl Linde was a once in a lifetime experience. This hotel has been in the family for over 160 years and they care about the happiness of their guests. They are also trying to preserve the area’s culture. We feel so lucky that we you this boutique hotel.

Nothing really except that Americans always appreciate a good washcloth/facecloth.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was the unexpected star of the show, good food, beautifully presented, service just right, good value although not cheap (which seems right to me) Very easy access (5 minutes walk) to Nurnberger Strasse Sbahn and two Ubahn stops

Weak wifi. No aircon, at least none that I found.Well equipped shower room was tight fit space.

Pleasant stay. We received e free room upgrading upon arrival and dined extremely well.Breakfast was also high quality with plenty of choice. Staff very welcoming.

The glass separation of the bathroom inside the room was partly transparent and did not provide complete privacy .

We were put in the ‘Cinderella room’, which had a small single bed and a double. I booked for 3 adults and we weee 3 friends staying in Germany for the football. We didn’t ask to move as we were only there for 2 nights.
