The place is a short bus trip from the port at Travemunde, so was easy to get to. The staff / owners were really friendly and gave me a great deal of information about the local area. From the decorations in the hotel, it was clear that sailing was in their family and they mentioned some seafaring things to me.

I wouldn't have minded the mattress to be a bit firmer. The room itself looked like it came out of a history book, with a great deal of attention paid to detail, but I may have slept even better if the mattress had been slightly firmer.

The hotel was beautiful! The decorations were all maritime themed, and the furnishing was classy and baroque. The manager Tim was friendly and he gave us a tour of the location. There is also a pretty back garden available for guests, and additional drinks for a small fee. Overall the experience was exceptional, not at all expensive, and Travemünde is a beautiful sea town.

Amazing host Tim, very helpful, very spacious apartment in a historical building, nice backyard with a plenty of space, a lot of things to do for small kids, even the hidden playroom there! :) Incredible breakfast, but not cheap, yeah.

WiFi coverage in our apartment wasn't working in all the bedrooms, only in a shared rooms and a kitchen, I would recommend to use more repeaters to increase the coverage. No private parking - to park on a streets around requires a lot of luck, a lot!

Cute decor with a strong nautical theme. Host Tim very friendly and helpful, so were the kitchen staff. Nice to have a garden to relax in as our economy room was tiny. The optional paid breakfast is delicious. It was also good that there was somewhere we could store our touring bicycles overnight. Supermarket and waterfront cafes within walking distance.

It’s the 2nd time we come to this wonderful hotel. We had the family room, and it was really nice and cosy. Lots of atmosphere, decorated with heart and passion. The host is very friendly and welcoming, giving lots of advices, even for a short stay like we did. Next time longer ;)

We stayed only 1 night there, but it was wonderful ! The owner gave us a warm welcome, even tough we arrived very late from the ship. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and specially all the details and little touches in our room. The breakfast was fantastic, and absolutely worth it. We can see that the owners are passionate about their work ! We’ll come back in summer to enjoy the garden :)

The breakfast was made to order and was delicious - well worth the price! The owner was very friendly and made us feel super welcome. The houses are all really pretty and beautifully decorated. The communal garden was perfect to relax in. Lots of small touches that made the stay feel extra special!

The room was a little bit small, but the garden makes up for this. The beds were a little bit too soft for our preference but nothing too bad! Would have been great if the restaurant had been open one or some of the evenings too :)

A perfect location for those in search for comfort and learning - cosy and full of marine artefacts (not only decorations). Pure pleasure of a tourist. And I'm still sad that I didn't have that sparkling wine for breakfast. I will definitely come back.

Though it didn't make our stay worse but the bedsheet in our room could have been newer to match the perfection of the rest.

Very helpful and nice man who welcomed us. Lovely property, with an area for relax and meet. Located in an calm street, but very near the shopping and restaurants.

The room was awesome. I had the Wedding suite together with my toddler. ;D The breakfast had a huge variety. Sweetie even got selfmade pancakes without asking for it. The owner made us feel like home.

The parking is not directly in front.
