This was a great place to stop for the night on our way to Croatia for our summer holidays. The staff were super nice and friendly, rooms a bit old school but in really great condition and shockingly pristine clean. The village is in a valley with some traditional architecture so my daughter was in awe because she felt like she was in “belle’s village” from beauty and the beast. The breakfast was great as well. This is really a fantastic option. I would definitely stay again.

Options are a bit limited for food in the village and the hotel restaurant closes early at 20:00. So make sure to arrive a bit earlier or eat in another close village

A typical German, friendly and nostalgic hotel where you'll receive a warm welcome, located in the center of a charming village near the highway. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel also has a fine restaurant with a wide selection, and breakfast is extensive. There is (free) parking at the hotel. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We were just passing through, but I'll definitely save this place for next time.

The hotel is in the village of Wiesensteig which is a really pleasant small town in very rural surroundings but close to Stuttgart and only a few miles from the motorway. The hotel has a small covered car park on site. We’ve stayed here a number of times before. The hotel is clean, tidy, comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a comfy bed and an ensuite shower. The local Swabian cuisine served at the hotel is always delicious. A real treat.

Very charming, German hotel and restaurant. While so many places are catering to the modern German palette, this one has traditional ambience with modern conveniences. We can go to a modern hotel anywhere. Here you will be comfortable and well fed, but still feel like you’re in Germany.

The town was quiet without much to do. Needed a car to see anything.

Nice, simple room, everything was clean. No noise from outside in the room. The breakfast was both warm and cold, good choice of ham and cheese, scrambled eggs, several types of bread and rolls. They checked in our friends even though they arrived short after 10pm, which was very nice. They kept the restaurant open for us to have few drinks even after 10pm. Lift to the higher floors. The blankets were soft and comfortable.

Not a good choice of sweet breakfast (two types of packed buns and durable pastry). Parking not private, but we found a free spot a bit down the road, just were a bit afraid if the car will be safe there. Restaurant did not have anything to eat after 10pm, so make sure to bring your own food should you arrive later. The mattress was too soft for me.

Nice and quiet hotel with excellent traditional kitchen. The hotel shows its age, but that’s the charm of it. Few km from the Autobahn.

Breakfast was great, with pancakes for the kids. The location was ideal for a stop on our way to Austria. We already felt on vacation there. Friendly staff, nice dinner in the restaurant, clean room,...it was worth the price.

The bathroom didn't have ventilation and the matras was one the hard side for me.
