It was a nice stay

I got an emergency that I needed to leave the hotel before my due date so I explained to the secretary if there’s a refund or if I can use the rest of the remaining days (which was 5 days)she told me, yes it possible I can come back at anytime I may want or someone can stay my days as long as I give them an update few days before that I’ll like to I can just come back… everything was okay until until the next day , I decided to leave, she then told me that she’s sorry , what she explained the day before doesn’t apply anymore in the hotel (that what her manager told her after explaining my situation) … I was pissed because of the amount of money I left with them and they don’t really know their rules

The staff are lovely from the reception staff to all the housekeepers to the restaurant staff. They really look after you and help you with booking taxis, carrying your luggage to and from your rooms, loaning you cash when you arrive if you don't have any etc. I can't remember all the staff members names but Benjamin from the restaurant was very nice, Sammy on the front desk was friendly and helpful, I think her name was Chrystal who did room/restaurant service was very kind and Felicity at reception was really helpful. Raymond was great too. The room and bathroom were a lot bigger than I thought, a pleasant surprise! Very comfortable bed and clean room. My friend and I were very grateful for the free airport pickup, the driver arrived on time and was very polite and helpful. The food was great but I recommend ordering from the restaurant an hour before you need to eat.

The only issue was that we were not informed that the salon was under a 2 month maintenance. My friend and I had been looking forward to booking a massage and hair services at the hotel.

This hotel was beautiful, it had a serene atmosphere, almost like a spa! The location was accessible, rooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff were very good from those who serviced the rooms to reception staff. In particular Raymond was amazing as nothing was too much for him. My stay was fantastic and I'd definitely book again or recommend to others.

Everything was perfect

It was an amazing property. From the point of check-in, all the staff were pleasant- from Eric who toured the room for us, to the people who were in charge of breakfast to dinner(Benjamin,Charity and Jane). My room was upgraded to a stunning larger one. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious. I tried almost everything on the menu and everything tasted really great. The cleaning of the room was also done thoroughly and the staff is really attentive and delivers exceptional service. For the first time visiting this hotel, I’d recommend it to any travelling to Accra. It’s also easy to get uber from the hotel to other places in Accra. The building and pool and dining, everywhere was clean and very beautiful. The rooms were spacious, bottle water was provided daily , Netflix was free to use and there’s a fridge in the room. It’s also a really quiet and serene hotel. I was visiting from the UK and I 100% recommend this hotel!

Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Even helped us find a car rental and tour guide. Rooms are absolutely stunning and it's all the small things like they had a customer Netflix account. Every single detail thought of. Can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels I have been in. Location also very nice on the outskirts of Accra which was perfect for us who want a bit of peace and quiet. An Uber will take you downtown for about 6 USD. Breakfast was also amazing. And on a final note I can highly reccomend Ghana as a country, such amazing nature and the people so friendly and nice. Will visit again for sure

The hotel was beautiful and exceeded my expectations upon arrival. The pictures didn't do it justice. It has beautiful rooms and facilities, as well as an on-site spa. The staff was accommodating and professional. I felt comfortable as a solo female traveler.

The only drawback is that this property is about 25 mins(drive) from many areas in the city you might want access to. Traffic can easily increase the time spent in transit. Even with that said, I think it is worth booking for the amenities and tranquil setting.

I got upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. The staff were generally very courteous, especially housekeepers, they couldn't do enough to help. And I think her name was Kimberley on reception. The location is fine, a bit out of the city but all good. I walked to the supermarket and a few shops nearby no problem. You can buy big bottles of beer, water, snacks etc nearby.

The spa/beauty was closed due to maintenance which was one reason I booked the hotel. No sunloungers by the pool although no problem to pull 2 large comfy seats together. The food was a bit slow in being served, I'd suggest pre-ordering if you're tight on time (good food though and reasonably priced). But I had a very positive stay and would recommend it.

Let me start by saying in all my travels worldwide, I've never felt so much like home and connected as staying at D'avenue Boutique Hotel in Accra Ghana. From the moment that I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile from the front desk (Felicity) who checked me in and provided a great orientation of the hotel facilities. The staff was extremely friendly and I felt very welcomed. During my stay, I've connected with more of the friendly staff like Mary, the lovely receptionist who assisted me with travel arrangments and spa treatments, Benjamin and Akosua with dinner and drink services, great sounds and mixes from DJ Kay, and amazing meals from International Chef Richard Bediako whose meals are so delicious and well crafted! The highlight of my stay was meeting the General Manager Nneka Davevnure whose proven experience in managing this top-notch staff resulted in one of the best stays I've ever experienced. It was an honor to meet her and thank her personally for her leadership. If you want the best experience a hotel has to offer, look no further than D'Avenue Boutique Hotel.

1. The lady that checked us in was such a darling, I wish I could recall her name. She was professional and friendly. 2. The room is big, spacious, and clean. Toiletries are well placed and useful (bathgel, shampoos, etc) 3. Breakfast was also nice. They endeavoured to provide variety

1. I think it is way off the city centre, and Accra has traffic issues, so going out and returning was stressful 2. A mishap with respect to tours, this was fixed later on

I enjoyed the breakfast especially the yam and eggs. Everything was tasty and good, the workers had good customer service and treated me nice. The location is great in the middle of a lot of things and close by the airport so that was a plus. The staff were so welcoming and they even invited me to their year end party and fed me for free and it was so much fun seeing them enjoy themselves outside of work.

I didn’t like that the rooms only had one bed and the I had to pay extra for a guest but it wasn’t the much I paid. It would’ve been nice if I could have my guest stay with me with no extra charge since the hotel isn’t an all inclusive one.
