This is a family owned hotel that exemplifies Greek hospitality - fresh breakfast cooked daily by the owners, every effort made to meet and anticipate the needs of guests, and all executed with an invariably welcoming smile and warm heart, including from the friendliest cleaners on the planet. There is a great atmosphere throughout the day, from the buzz at breakfast to the socializing around the pool followed by drinks in the early evening. The hotel's location is extremely convenient: within a few minutes' walk from several organised and unspoilt beaches, Agia Pelagia also offers numerous local restaurants and cafes to cater for all tastes, from brunch to traditional Greek pastries to oven baked pizza and good seafood: arguably the broadest choice at any single location across the island. There is loads to do, and in our 3 weeks staying at Filoxenia we barely managed a first pass at the island's most stunning beaches which, even in peak August season, rarely felt crowded. The open air live music concerts in squares, beaches and cafes were a particular highlight, as was the pervasive kindness and laissez-faire of the people of Kythira. We will be back to create more great memories...

Had such a lovely stay The apartment was Amazing!so comfy,beautiful and squeaky clean, equipped with everything we needed. Located around the corner literally just steps from the beach,restaurants,cafes,market Worth mentioning we Really enjoyed the breakfast ,as quality it was amazing and all products are so very fresh ,had great variety of options and the terrace that is served is really wonderful ,made my day Big Big thank you to the Staff always so helpful,thoughtful and professional truly remarkable Looking forward visiting again

Marianna and all her team welcomed us to their family run hotel as if we were Family. The hotel was so comfortable, clean and well run. The pool was available until 10pm at night and was equipped with a bar . The breakfast was fresh everyday and with the best frappes and fresh organge juice. All the staff know who you are and treat you with exceptional warmness. They can recommend day trips and restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel and the area it is in to stay.

Filoxenia Apartments is located in a very good spot, near Agia Pelagia beach and taverns. Our room (3rd flood) had a huge balcony with a fantastic sea view. The inside of the room itself was good, with a second smaller balcony available as well. Bed was rather comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The people running the place are very nice and always willing to help.

The breakfast was rather generic I'd say. It had the usual stuff and they were refilling the buffet all times, but I'd suggest introducing some different (and maybe local?) flavors. On another aspect, unfortunately, wifi service was very very bad in our room (we were told of a technical issue when we arrived though) and due to mobile data unavailability service of both Cosmote & Vodafone near the premises, we had an unpleasant experience on this part. Obviously, the latter is not an issue of the hotel, but still, wifi should be up and running perfectly.

Spacious accommodation for a family of 4. Clean and comfortable. The staff were all lovely and went out of their way to make our stay special.

Apartment hotel at the entrance of Agia Pelagia of modern construction and with swimming pool. Our room was very spacious with a living area, small kitchen, bathroom, balcony and air conditioning. Good and plentiful breakfast. A pleasant place to stay on the island.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, great views. Very clean, nice deep pool, lovely grounds and gardens.
