The location is superb! The house itself is an excellent construction with artistic details, excellent taste in decoration, magnificent view of Monembasia rock!

There were hardly any kitchen utensils, and although it was for four people there there were plates and cups for 3. I specifically asked if there is a kitchenette for basic meals, and although I was ensured that there was one, you could not even boil spaghetti in the tiny pot and there wasn’t any colander. When I notified the person in charge, he replied there had never been any complaints from people staying there for three days, what is the point of advertising your kitchen if The only thing you can prepare is eggs?

The accommodation is rustic and beautifully renovated 'old style' 1 bedroom flat. Bedroom has a balcony with sea view and view to Monemasia island, in nice shadow of olive trees. Bathroom is fully equipped with all style cosmetics of luxurious quality and shower has trillion of settings which you can chose from, kitchen also fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge and coffee maker, all appliances nicely inbuilt in the rustic traditional style of countertop. Dining table with chairs. Location is in a small village maybe 10 mins by car from Monemvasia and has very quiet surroundings, set in nature with direct road access and available parking in front on the property (public street parking) with no troubles. The host is very welcoming and eager to help with anything you might need.

It was on the more expensive side for my taste but once seeing the type of accommodation personally I understood the stay is an amazing experience by itself and worth the money. You definitely need a car to come, it is bit out of hand of the 'main action' in Monemvasia.

Wonderful hosts. Location excellent, peaceful, walk to sea take a swim in crystal clear water. Nearby walk to market. Just minutes drive to other beaches. And finally The great Monemvasia in plain view

The place is super beautiful, very curated, beautiful rooms and facilities. The stuff was very nice and welcoming ! Beautiful building and rooms, and really nice vide.

The location is not so beautiful around, but the view is great. Unfortunately if you choose the twin rooms and not the family room there is not much of a view because of the plants in front of the balcony.

Astrolithos is a place to stay and spend the type of vacations you wish for. It is a traditional guest house. Staff is friendly and discreet. The room has a traditional decoration, emphasizing in details, with a good wi-fi also. Our room had a sea-view. I was blessed to see the sun rising from the sea every single morning, close to the Monenvasia castle. Breakfast is very good and plenty. I totally recommend it.

Exceptionally clean, furnished and decorated with attention to the detail. Fantastic view and quiet with the most comfortable beds. And of course the host (Marina), an employee at the facility who is always doing the “extra mile” to make the guests feel like home.

I did not have enough time to enjoy it…

Only one item the entrance to the shower is too low both myself and son banged our heads.
