Such a professional and guest oriented attitude! Even before arrival we had to ask for our stay to be postponed for one day and the management did their best to sort things out with booking.com and make it happen. On the arrival day we were greeted with cold drinks and welcomed by the guest relations manager herself with a warm and friendly chat. Enough to start feeling at home at an instant. The rooms are nice, with a mini fridge and freezer compartment working perfectly, a safety deposit box, TV, well equipped bathroom with bathrobes, cosmetics and a vanity set. Wifi worked smoothly in all areas and the terrace was quite inviting to sit and enjoy a drink at any spare moment. The hotel has its own pebbly - sandy beach with sunbeds and parasols in abundance for all guests but we mostly enjoyed the three swimming pools which were spotlessly clean and refreshing. There is an onsite mini market with all kinds of goods and at quite fair prices, too. The food served in the main restaurant is plentiful and with an impressive choice both for breakfast and dinner. Soups, salads, hot and cold buffet, a wide array of artistic mini cakes, meats, fish etc. There is also a classy fine dining restaurant La Medusa onsite with its exquisite menu of mediterranean dishes. Finally, on our last evening before departure we were pleasantly surprised by a small gift bag from the hotel containing a few bags of spices and herbs typical of the Pieria area. And lastly, a big BRAVO and THANK YOU to all the staff members for their flawless service to make our stay a truly memorable one. All in all, if a totally relaxing and luxurious holiday less than an hour from Thessaloniki is on your mind, think no more: The Dion Palace Resort & Spa is the place

We prefer sandy beaches and this one is a combination of sand and pebbles. Just our preference, not that this beach isn’t good.

Our room was amazing. It was on the top floor of the sea front bungalow. All amenities were provided as listed and even a few more perks like, cushioned sunbeds on the terrace, a complimentary bottle of wine and an hour at the spa (super clear, nice staff) and a special gift bag for our departure. Staff was amazing, everyone was pleasant, smiling, friendly and welcoming, tending to our every need and question. The beach is beautiful, the sea pristine. The hotel has a great setting with many areas where you can relax, both in the shade, at the bars or at the pools. Food was exquisite. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the dinner was always varied, rich and tasty. We will definitely go back!

Just a note that the hotel is very family-friendly and there are many small children everywhere. It can get very noisy, especially on the beach where the sunbeds are. There are still many places where you can relax and you will easily find them among other couples taking "refuge" from the crowd. Also there is one adult-only pool. Many people are using their towels to "reserve" the sunbeds and this can get very annoying. Maybe the hotel can install a policy that any towels left unattended as such will be instantly removed.

Our stay at Hotel Dion was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home thanks to the amazing hospitality of the staff. A very special mention goes to Evangelia, who welcomed us with the kindest smile and made us feel like family right away. She was always there for us, incredibly attentive and generous, and truly went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Her warmth and care were unforgettable – she is the heart of the hotel! We also want to thank Maria at the bar, who greeted us every morning with her bright smile and served the best coffee we’ve ever had – a perfect start to our days. The room service was impeccable. Dora made sure our room was spotlessly clean and fresh every morning, which made our stay so comfortable. The food was delicious and diverse, with a different cuisine every evening that kept dining exciting. Our room had both sea and pool views, which made it even more special. The location is unbeatable – right on the beach, yet also offering a breathtaking mountain view. We loved spending time by the pool as well. This was a wonderful experience for our family, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Three excellent pools, one for adults only for quiet time. Right on the beach, loungers and umbrellas provided. We had half board, which was in buffet form and excellent quality, wide choice of good, fresh food. Excellent!

The wine to buy in the restaurant was a limited choice and quite expensive. The offer of a house wine would be a great improvement.

After booking this hotel and reading some of the reviews here, I was a bit skeptical about what to expect. After 8 days spent here, I have to say this place is beautiful, and we had a great vacation. Everything works perfectly; the staff is helpful and hardworking, always there for anything you might need; there are two big parking lots, so it is easy to find a parking spot even when the hotel is completely occupied with guests; WiFi works flawlessly everywhere (room, lobby, restaurant, pools, even beach!); and the food is delicious if you are on a typical carnivore diet. The AC unit was brand new in our room, but there was no need to use it, although days were hot outside, but windy, and nights were fresh. Probably because of the wind there were no mosquitoes at all, zero during our stay. Request a 'do not disturb' sign at the hotel reception and hang it on your room door handle, and simply flip it to 'service' when you need room maintenance, and you will not be surprised by cleaning staff while resting in your room (many people complained about that in reviews). I could write more and counter most of the negative comments, but I will stop here. It's a lovely resort with a high value and lots of things to enjoy!

It was clean, the garden, the pools and beach were very nice, the hotel employees were pleasant and eager to help. The room was big enough with a big terrace with a very nice view of the sea, the cleaning was done daily. The food was good, tasteful, but not that diversified specifically at breakfast also some of the vegetables were sliced way too early and kept in the fridge which dried them (especially the cucumbers). The AC unit was pretty new and kept the room cool which was nice. Overall the conditions were good, but they aren't 5 stars (more in the 4 stars range)

The furniture from the room was a bit outdated, and not quite practical... There weren't too many options for storing various items if you travel with a small child (3 year old). The TV in the room had connection issues, the tv signal was unstable and although it was a smart tv the apps weren't available, that was a bit of an issue for us because our child was not able to watch any of the preferred content. The benefits from the all inclusive weren't that wow...

The hotel has a nice big domain , with 3 pools, big garden and private beach. It was not crowded and we always had free sunbeds ( both to the pool and to the beach). The food was very good , varied and fresh.

The hotel room was rather small for 2 adults and a teenager. The 3 rd bed was very small and defective and I had to asked them twice to replace it. The balcony is small . The room was not properly cleaned and the towels are very old and yellow because of intense usage. The air conditioned was not Ok ( more like a ventilator ) Insuficient parking spaces..

We had an all-inclusive package. We arrived a few hours before the check-in date and the room was ready, so we checked in earlier. There was complementary wine, fruit, coffee, tea and water in the room. The food was tasty, the breakfast had the same options almost each day, and it was from 7:00 to 10:30. With breakfast there is coffee, water and juices. The lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:30-21:30) were different each day and had a lot of options and each day there is a dinner theme (Greek night, Mediterranean night, fish night..) For lunch and dinner you have to order drinks. The main bar and the pool bar are part of an all-inclusive package. There are beers, cocktails (make sure to order Mojito), Pepsi, sparkling water, juices, coffee. There was daily housekeeping and the staff were very friendly and nice. Sunbeds on the beach and pools are free of charge. Although there are not a lot of sunbeds, there were always a few available. Parking is private and part of the hotel property.
