We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Malathro! The room was beautiful, the property was peaceful and picturesque. The reception answered my inquiries before arrival very promptly. The common area had games and books. The room had a private yard for dogs or kids. The place was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen made it easy to cook for ourselves, but the meals must be good that can be cooked on the stove top or a panini press, because those are the only appliances available. Still we were able to enjoy a tasty meal by the fire on the cozy couch! The fire place was set up and ready to light when we arrived and the first couple of logs were complementary. The included breakfast was huge and beautiful! Pastries, spreads, eggs, veggies, fruit, yogurt, granola, and freshly squeezed orange juice the very kind hostess made herself! Overall our experience was positively dreamy and I fully intend to return!

I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This place exceeded all my expectations! The breakfasts were very varied, filling, and delicious. The kitchen in the apartment was fully equipped and convenient. The bed and sofa were comfortable and cozy. Towels were changed daily. The design of the apartment was a separate joy — it delighted my eyes every day. The owner was very friendly, shared a lot of interesting information about the place, and gave great advice on where to go. And one more very important plus — they allow pets to stay.

The only downside for me was that water from the shower would spill out onto the bathroom floor. It would be convenient to have a squeegee or a mop in the bathroom to clean up the excess water right away.

A new, modern property in a convenient location between mount Olympus and the sea. Comparing to the properties in the surrounding areas, this is definitely amongst the best value for money. Very helpful staff!

The village is okay and the nearby restaurants are average. Ask the staff for suggestions!

This was an excellent stay in such a cozy village and the beautiful mountainous view. Malathro guest house was super! Clean and tidy, with very comfortable bedding and a really nice staff !! Yanis and Katterin were really helpful and kind to us:) Yanis drove us to the mountains, so we could hike about 2 hours and it was wonderful! And then came to pick us up, despite the fact that he was very busy with his work, And Katterin answered all of our questions kindly :) Thanks a lot❤️ I recommend Malathro to everyone! You will enjoy your vacation in a peaceful area and people as well!

The surroundings are beautiful, as well as Malathro. The guesthouse is situated in Dion, a quiet archeological village, right under Mount Olympus, with friendly people.l who welcomed us. We have arrived quite late, but the owner called us and Mrs. Katerina waited for us. A very lovely lady, very kind and always ready to help us. The rooms were warm, cozy, quite big and spotlessly clean. We had a very good night sleep, the beds were comfortable. In the morning we were delighted by the view, the silence, no traffic around, the roosters sang and the sun was entering our windows. The breakfast was more than enough, with fresh made omelette and boiled eggs, a good coffee, sweets, croissants, honey, jam, butter, fruits and many more. The cherry on top were the fireplace and a beautiful view at a snowy Mount Olympus. We promised ourselves to come back to enjoy more of Dion and hiking on Mount Olympus and definitely we will stay at Malathro! Thank you!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway at Malathro Olympus, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Our weekend at Malathro Olympus was nothing short of perfect. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. First and foremost, the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The fireplace in the living room added an extra touch of romance to our evenings, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation and conversation. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay. Their hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to our experience and made us feel right at home. Thank you to the entire team at Malathro Olympus for a truly wonderful stay. We can't wait to return!

Everything was great. Our stay was for three nights, junior apartment. Great place to relax and explore this part of Greece. One day we dedicated to the ancient landmarks related to the god Zeus, which are in close proximity, within walking distance. The next day we took a walk to Mount Olympus, 15 min. by car. The next two days we spent the afternoons on the beach, 10 minutes by car.

The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. located within walking distance from the archeological museum and the archeological park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Costas gave lots of information/ideas about what to do in the area. Unfortunately we had only one day, so we couldn't do all. He also gave lots of ideas for things to do in Thessaloniki.

The place is perfect! We arrived in Malathro after five days on the mountain and it was a perfect choice!! Beautiful, comfortable, good shower and you can really see that they put thought in all the small details. The breakfast is really tasty with a lot of small different dishes. Costas is super nice and helpful, he helped us plan the rest of our trip in the north. We absolutely loved it and will recommend it to all our friends!

The Duplex Apartment is really nice with a small kitchen, fireplace, tv, good wifi reception and bedroom on top floor. Breakfast has a variety and upon request they can alter their recipe (we have an athletic diet and requested specific omelet which they prepared). The staff is great and very helpful with all requests. Definitely recommend
