The staff were absolutely the standout at this property! The property was absolutely perfect for our needs as a family of 4 (2 kids, 6 and 4), we had the junior suite with pool. It was modern, spacious, well equipped, clean. The place itself was perfectly located - a short walk into Chora, even for our small kids, and a short drive to Lavadi (you can walk in approx 10 mins, but we didn’t dare as the walk back with kids is quite steep and we had a car, so opted to take it each time). The main pool area is stunning, as is the restaurant and the breakfast is SUPPERB! We also ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and found it to be the best on the island (we enjoyed the Italian for a change to Greek food). However, the cherry on the top for us with this place was every single staff member. A very special shout out to Leo and Irine, who could not have done more for us, they went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible experience and were left needing nothing. They also made our kids feel so special and our kids LOVED them both. Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a magical week we had as a family in Astypalia. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Absolutely nothing!

This is the best hotel in the island of Astypalaia. The staff and the owners were the most gracious of any hotel in a Greek island I have visited in the last 50 years. During the last day when we had no car they offered and did give us a ride to the nearby beach. They also were very kind to come and pick us up to return us to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and so was the risotto I had one night that we decided not to go to the center of the town. The hotel is just outside the main town, Hora, but close enough to walk to the windmills area where several bars and restaurants were available.

The hotel does not have its own beach but this is the case with all hotels in Astypalaia, and most other Aegean islands.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 6 nights and had an exceptional experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—especially Anna, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location: stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to everything I needed. The breakfast was another standout—fresh, delicious, and served in a setting that made every morning feel special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Astypalea and would absolutely return. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and unforgettable views.

Very polite staff, which I think makes a huge difference. Convenient location, great options at breakfast, clean rooms and overall a good choice to stay at when in Astypalaia.

Hotel’s experience is a bit room dependent. Some of the rooms, even if at same price tag, are significantly less appealing, particularly vis a vis what you pay for. We changed ours, was a bit better but still feel like it could do with a bit of refurbishment.

The property is very well located close to Chora (5’ walk). They offered services that accelerated our experience in the property: beach towels, sun umbrellas, welcome drinks, transfer from the airport at low fee, car rental at a good price. The owner of the hotel also organizes a cruise to the small islands and the red cliff that is great value for money, we had a great day and I strongly recommend it (100€ per person all included). Breakfast is rich and of good quality (all kind of coffees available, fresh juice, hand made pies). Moreover Astypalaia is a great place to spend your vacation with great local people and great vibes.

The pool is very small, no pool shower and not so clean. Pool area is very limited. Some poor organizational issues, with the hotel reception, prevented us of making use of the spa services which we would like very much to try. Double check that your time-slot is blocked, otherwise you may loose it.

The breakfast and dinner were very nice, the room was comfortable with a nice view, everything was very very nice

Regrettably, wifi was almost non existent during my stay in the hotel. Also, the swimming pool seemed a little neglected: there were insects on the surface of the water and in general the pool water did not seem welcomingly clean.

The food, the view, the friendly and helpful staff. We had massages which were excellent. Not too far to walk into Chora or down to Livadi, where there are several good restaurants. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the private pool was wonderful.

The steps would be an issue for anyone with reduced mobility. There is a lift but it doesn’t go all the way down to the main pool. It would be good to provide some shade for the tables for breakfast.

The location is amazing, the staff super lovely and available, the room clean and quite spacious!

Breakfast was served officially from 8:30, but we tried two times to be there at 8:30 and wasn’t ready! Moreover, some of the common facilities (i.e. swimming pool) weren’t particularly clean! The feeling is they were already in closing-mood, as the end of the season is approaching!

It is in a very good location and the staff ate exceptionally friendly and helpful. I am slightly disabled and they went pit of their way to help me.

The staff were fantastic, the room was lovely and the cocomatt bedding was delightful! Highly recommend eating at the hotel, the chef was fantastic and food was the best on the island. Breakfast was lovely and all made fresh. Definitely use the spa and book a massage, it is lovely. Hire an electric car from reception it was so easy and book the daily cruise through reception, way better than the ones at the harbour you can book! Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to like but just note the drinks in the room are charged however at the same rate as the shop so worthwhile grabbing drinks from the fridge!
