Close to airport, room large and clean. Good for one night stay to fly home or for a flight the next day.

Offered shuttle service. When waiting for shuttle service only a small van came with 8 seats available. We thought there would be a large transport Van. There were my partner and I are 2 other groups waiting and we were unable to get a seat and ended up needing to get an uber to hotel. The driver let us know he would be back in about 30 minutes - however we didn’t want to wait as we were unsure if more people were going to arrive and we weren’t going to get a seat again. There’s no way of reserving your seat prior to arrival- something to note.

Nice location to the airport especially if you have to stay for a connecting flight. Loved the complimentary shuttle from the airport to hotel. They pick up on the hour from the airport and leave the hotel for the airport on the half hour 24 hours a day. Nice staff and a great little lounge area with food and cocktails. Breakfast was a buffet style and plenty of food items to choose from. I would say the breakfast is worth the additional price. The rooms are very big and large bathroom as well. We were happy with our one night stay.

The room and especially the bathroom are very out dated. I felt like I traveled back in time! The shower head was also located on the side of the tub rather than the front so that was a little odd but it wasn’t a big deal. If you want to go to the city center of Athens, then that is a bit of a drive. We only stayed here because of the close proximity to the airport.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Athens as we were flying early the next morning and they provided a free shuttle service. The hotel was very comfortable and had a small indoor swimming pool which was ok for getting some exercise. We had a very reasonable and tasty meal at their restaurant and whilst waiting for the courtesy bus to airport they provided free coffee tea juice fruit and cake. We thought it was a lovely gesture. The driver of courtesy bus both ways were professional and pleasant. Would stay again as it is so much more affordable than the Sofitel at airport.

A better gym facility would have been good some weights for instance. Overall it was a good experience.

This location is great for access to the Athens airport. If you need to get to the Athens city center you can take the bus that has a stop outside of the hotel. We did order a meal at the hotel restaurant and it was good and priced right compared to many hotels. They also offer a free shuttle that runs 24 hrs a day to and from the airport.

There are no places to walk to from the location, if that is what you are looking to do for your stay. There is a convenience store and chain coffee shop at the gas station in front of the location but nothing more.

This hotel was perfect for us to transition between flights back to Montreal form Crete. Room was spacious and clean , bed was comfortable and restaurant for dinner was delicious. Breakfast was another story , average at best but it did the job as it was included. Make sure you reserve your shuttle ride to and from the Athens airport. Expensive for an airport Holiday Inn but in the end there where was only one real alternative , The Sofitel at airport ($400 / night and up ). Would definitely stay again. 😉

After travelling around Greece and having a 4am flight out the next morning we stayed at the Holiday Inn so we could freshen up and relax for a few hours before heading to the airport. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. We ordered room service which was good. We booked the shuttle bus which was a short drive to the airport…. But we left at 2am so there was no traffic and took 10mins if that. However if you have a later morning flight I would allow plenty of time to get there!!!!

I was wrongly advised at the airport about the bus location so arrived as bus was taking off. I waved and indicated I wanted it to stop and the driver did stop and was very helpful. Also on return although the bus left a little late, the driver was friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious and very well priced.

My room 422, had a locked door leading to another room. The noise from that room with the TV went on long into the night and from VERY early in the morning. Very disturbing. My starter and main course were brought at the same time at dinner. I asked for the main to be kept warm, as it arrived far too early. It was however not kept warm, whicih was a real shame. The starter was hot and delicious.

It was a very convenient choice, especially for those in transit. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant stays open late into the night—a real lifesaver for late arrivals. Most of the guests seemed to be travelers like myself, staying just for a night before catching their next flight. This hotel perfectly caters to that need, offering all the essentials for a quick and restful stopover.

One downside of the property was the lengthy check-in process, especially since you often arrive with a bus full of other travelers. It would be great if they offered a pre-check-in option to streamline the process and make arrival quicker and more efficient.

Room was very clean. My wife loved the big bathtub. Check in and check out was easy. The airport shuttle runs every hour on the half hour, minimizing extra waiting at the airport.

The restuarant facility was sub-par. My wife ordered a grilled chiken ceasar salad which she sent back. It did not have the anchovies as advertised and the chicken was not grilled. The restaurant remade the salad, this time including the anchovies, but the chicken tasted funny so my wife rightly declined to eat it. My medium well burger was good but slightly undercooked, so I did not eat the undercooked part.

Shuttle was the best! So convenient! Our flight was cancelled earlier and was rebooked which affected our Pick- up time from the airport. Nevertheless a couple of phone calls and the shuttle was there for us. Although we ended up staying less hours than we planned to at the hotel due to our flight schedule fiasco, it was worth the stay! Let’s not forget the great staff who were there to assist us in our accommodation needs! Keep up the good work!

Hotel Price rate could have been better. Although our stay included free breakfast with a wide array of food choices, it’s a little pricey for us! Trying to compare this Europe based Holiday Inn ( breakfast included ) with the ones that we have stayed with in the US, hotel rate could be a lot better!
