In the heart of the city, in the middle if all shops, restaurants and cafes, literally few steps from the beach, small terrace on the sea side. Extremelly clean, cleaning personelle goes into the rooms and tidy up daily, bedsheets and towells super white and with nice fragrance, bathroom very clean. Room is equipped with what is needed (AC, refrigerator, tv, wifi). Stuff friendly, helful and positive. I have no idea why this is a 2 stars hotel... I was nervous before getting there, mostly about the cleanness but it exceeded all my expectations. I've been to 4 stars hotels that don't match in terms of cleanness with Hotel Avra! So really excited about this aspect!

If you don't enjoy busy areas this is not a place for you but after midnight everything quites down. Prices for coffees: served from the hotel takeway in your room 3.5 eur, served on the beach 6 eur... same coffee, same serving. No food or restaurant in the hotel but you can get anything you want just by exiting the hotel. You can bring food on the hotel's private beach but no drinks (from outside the hotel).

Such a great experience! The Avra hotel is easily our best choice in Paralia Katerinis. The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious, renovated, and equipped with everything needed. The staff is friendly and helpful, plus they have high standard for cleanliness. Last, but not least, the provided parking is absolutely great.

It would have been great if the beachfront was a little more spacious. Alternatively, I'd love if there's more space between the different beach sets (umbrella, sunbeds, etc).

The hotel is in a central location - within a short distance of the best restaurants in town. It has a small private beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas right in front of the hotel. The rooms were very clean on arrival and then cleaned daily. The staff very friendly and helpful - especially Chris, who was always checking if we’re enjoying our stay and if we need anything. There’s a private parking free of charge two blocks away which was very useful!

The rooms were a bit small and there were no breakfast facilities on site.

The reservation was made for my parents and after their vacation ended, they explicitly told me to write an amazing review for this hotel and their stuff! They were impressed by what a 2* hotel can offer there, the stuff was really really friendly and tried to help them with whatever they needed (especially because they are not English/Greek speakers and it was a bit challenging for them to express their needs). They also told me that their room was cleaned daily, providing fresh new towels and bedsheets. The hotel is basically on the beach and it has a lot of tavernas/shops near it - a great option for whoever wants to have a perfect and cheap stay in Greece! Also, the sunbeds on the beach are free of charge for the hotel guests if you buy a drink (any drink). Special thanks from my parents (the couple from Romania, Galati)!!!

Modern rooms with small fridge and nice bathroom. Very clean because of good staff. Everyone is very polite and helpful. The beach is right in front of the hotel. If you choose the seaside it is a wonderful view.

Beds are a little bit soft. If you have bad luck, there might be smokers on every side of your balcony and the smoke might get inside your room through open balcony door. The beach belonging to the hotel might be a bit crowded. And it doesn't have a lot of space between the places. For using the sunbeds you should know, that you usually need to order at least one drink per person at the hotel bar.

This small but exceptional hotel has the perfect location for a summer holiday. Situated right on the beach it offers comfort and a luxurious experience. I strongly recommend the place both for a longer or shorter stay.

Great location just at the beach. Being on the main street at the centre of the city makes it noisy from the shops and bars. The staff was nice and was keeping all the facilities in great condition - the rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed.

The hotel was right on the beach and offered amazing views. The main street with all restaurants, bars, shops was on the other side of the hotel. The room was of good size and was exceptionally clean. You have to purchase a drink for at least 4eur per person to get a sunbed and parasol.

The parking is far away from the hotel (at least 200 m away), especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is forbidden to park on the street or even drive by the hotel, as it is a pedestrian street, so you have to drag all your stuff through the streets.

The hotel is situated next to the beach, has a great view at the sea. The staff was wellcoming and polite. We could check out at an early hour.

There was nothing we did not like about Hotel Avra. But turists must be aware of the loud music and cooking smells coming from a taverna next to the hotel.

The location and the receptionists were very professional and kind. The hotel should have more than 2 stars as it is listed. Will recommend to everyone and would visit again. There is also a lift for elderly people so they can easier access their floor.
