Costas was really understanding, friendly and helped us with the accommodation. He knows how to treat the guests. Also has good tips on what to do and where to go. More so, the maidens are also really helpful and very nice and respectful to everyone. Another great point is that everyone knows english. Breakfast is great, small differences each day. You have and can ask for almost anything. They also have baby/toddler chair and can spare you one crib if needed. This was also good for us. Good location for Olympus mountain trips. For beaches it's like 15-25 minutes away, depending where you would want to go.

The place is just amazing - so close to all the tourist attractions, the beaches, the waterfalls and lagoons, the vineyards, the nearby town of Litochoro and the Olympus hiking trails, also convenient if you want to see Thessaloniki or Meteora monasteries. Costas is the most welcoming and best informed host you could imagine. The entire staff is great, too. The apartment was clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped. The AC was working very efficiently. Enough parking around the buildings. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

If I could point out just one thing - I'd have appreciated if the breakfasts have been more varied. For 7 days straight we were getting pretty much the same food which honestly was quite boring. I'd love to have tried some cheeses, meat etc. and not just fruit jams, cold tortillas and hard-boiled eggs every day.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Malathro! The room was beautiful, the property was peaceful and picturesque. The reception answered my inquiries before arrival very promptly. The common area had games and books. The room had a private yard for dogs or kids. The place was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen made it easy to cook for ourselves, but the meals must be good that can be cooked on the stove top or a panini press, because those are the only appliances available. Still we were able to enjoy a tasty meal by the fire on the cozy couch! The fire place was set up and ready to light when we arrived and the first couple of logs were complementary. The included breakfast was huge and beautiful! Pastries, spreads, eggs, veggies, fruit, yogurt, granola, and freshly squeezed orange juice the very kind hostess made herself! Overall our experience was positively dreamy and I fully intend to return!

I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This place exceeded all my expectations! The breakfasts were very varied, filling, and delicious. The kitchen in the apartment was fully equipped and convenient. The bed and sofa were comfortable and cozy. Towels were changed daily. The design of the apartment was a separate joy — it delighted my eyes every day. The owner was very friendly, shared a lot of interesting information about the place, and gave great advice on where to go. And one more very important plus — they allow pets to stay.

The only downside for me was that water from the shower would spill out onto the bathroom floor. It would be convenient to have a squeegee or a mop in the bathroom to clean up the excess water right away.

A new, modern property in a convenient location between mount Olympus and the sea. Comparing to the properties in the surrounding areas, this is definitely amongst the best value for money. Very helpful staff!

The village is okay and the nearby restaurants are average. Ask the staff for suggestions!

This was an excellent stay in such a cozy village and the beautiful mountainous view. Malathro guest house was super! Clean and tidy, with very comfortable bedding and a really nice staff !! Yanis and Katterin were really helpful and kind to us:) Yanis drove us to the mountains, so we could hike about 2 hours and it was wonderful! And then came to pick us up, despite the fact that he was very busy with his work, And Katterin answered all of our questions kindly :) Thanks a lot❤️ I recommend Malathro to everyone! You will enjoy your vacation in a peaceful area and people as well!

We stayed for one night and wished we had more time. The host welcomed us warmly and shared lots of helpful information about things to do in the area. We visited waterfalls and lagoons just a short drive away, and there’s also a supermarket very close by. Our room was very clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, everything felt new and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped and the breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

A stunning place to stay with a modern and immaculate design, situated in a prime location. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was delightful. The thoughtful gift of kiwi jam added a personal touch. Highly recommend and will definitely return!.

The surroundings are beautiful, as well as Malathro. The guesthouse is situated in Dion, a quiet archeological village, right under Mount Olympus, with friendly people.l who welcomed us. We have arrived quite late, but the owner called us and Mrs. Katerina waited for us. A very lovely lady, very kind and always ready to help us. The rooms were warm, cozy, quite big and spotlessly clean. We had a very good night sleep, the beds were comfortable. In the morning we were delighted by the view, the silence, no traffic around, the roosters sang and the sun was entering our windows. The breakfast was more than enough, with fresh made omelette and boiled eggs, a good coffee, sweets, croissants, honey, jam, butter, fruits and many more. The cherry on top were the fireplace and a beautiful view at a snowy Mount Olympus. We promised ourselves to come back to enjoy more of Dion and hiking on Mount Olympus and definitely we will stay at Malathro! Thank you!
