The hotel with the best sunrise view we ever had right from the spacious balcony. Despite low season the premises and inner hotel territory were very clean, with a lot of greens and flowers in bloom. The hotel is just near the sea. We assume this hotel is definitely a gem for summer stay but we liked it very much even in December. The hosts were very nice and provided a lot of advice regarding the sightseeing possibilities.

We had some issues with water temperature in the bathroom, may be due to low season.

You will not regret escaping to the Avantis that is just an hour from Athens by car and truly offers a four star experience. Firstjy, the staff from front desk, waiters, cleaning, to ground keepers are all friendly and amazingly helpful. The hotel Is impeccably kept, the facilities, accommodations and the beach- with the lounge chairs —are in very good shape. If you order the meal plan —which I highly recommend —you get a very nice breakfast (7:30 AM TO 9:30 AM ish) and it offers various fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, breads, eggs, coffees, teas, juices and breakfast meats. For lunch (ala carte ) a large variety of quick, and cooked meals are available for purchase including amazing cold drinks, and super good cocktails offered all day and night. The meal plan includes dinner at 7:30 PM -9:30 PM (19:30-21:30) and offers an eclectic mix of traditional and home cooked Hellenic Greek meals options buffet style that has an international flair, and that is extremely well-made, fresh and flavorful. The rooms are very well kept, clean and with good air conditioning, small refrigerator, a hot plate, and kitchenette. The bathrooms with shower are modern. The views are breathtaking at the upper floor and the gardens and pool are will manicured, tended and kept. The terraces are covered and offer seating area, a table and a pull down rack to dry your towels etc. Lastly, the wifi, which is easy to connect to, works well and as good as it can get in Hellas/ Greece.

The buffet needs to be labeled and preferably with contents of the meal ingredients list for those travelers who need to avoid certain allergens.

We liked the space. Access to all the facilities was great. Food was good, and the staff were very attentive.

At night there is nobody at the hotel reception and no staff. When we arrived to the hotel, we received a horrendous room with mosquitoes. It was dark, small, no cell reception. Nothing was working and it was on ground floor, even when we booked and paid for a much better room. On the next morning we received a better room. After that occasion everything went smoothly.

Beautiful location. The staff is maximally dedicated to their work. I would like to highlight the staff at the reception and the waiters who were very kind and helpful. Cleanliness was at a very high level. The food was professionally cooked.

We had booked two rooms, but in one room the air conditioner was broken. Maybe we should have been offered another room, but the reception apologized and informed us that they would fix it soon. It happened after 3 days, so we didn't have air conditioner in one room for 3 days.

The location is perfect, near the town and right on the water. The beach is small with sand not rocks very nice on the feet. The food was excellent!

Was some construction going on when we were there, I'm sure that it was improvements for busy season. The dinner staff was ok, a bit chaotic at times I'm guessing it is due to the lack of English speakers on staff, this place is mostly Greek tourists. The bathroom could benefit from with more towel hooks.

Avantis was for our second week in Greece. Tempels and historic sites we did in the first week near Athens. We enjoyed during our week stay at Avantis the beach, bar, and pool the most. Breakfast was good and the lunches (13-16:00) were delicious and were our dinners.

Very good location. Not big hotel, cozy, great beach. Not crowded. Good choice for dinner, amazing place when you eat by the sea. Would definitelly recomend this hotel to my friends.

The beach, although private, was accessible by non hotel guests and became overcrowded on Sunday

The personnel were very friendly and caring. Room was quite spacious. The access to the sea is a great benefit of the facility, whilst the swimming could be an enjoyable alternative, if the weather doesn’t make the sea very appealing. Food was very -homemade level- good!

The facility could use some light renovation, especially in the rooms.
