The staff, the location, the lovely rooms with air con included (much needed) and safe included. 150 metres from the sea (passing a fantastic on-site restaurant). Jet skis, inflatables, para sailing and even a boat to Lindos from the beach. This place has been so wonderful for a much needed holiday. The whole vibe is relaxed and easy going. The AI next door had all the sunbeds packed in together. Here, there is plenty of space to move your sun bed around and compared to the rest of the island, reasonably priced. Manilos, on reception, is a real credit to the hotel. He is wonderful. Very friendly and considerate. We really appreciated his kindness. All of the local people were wonderful. We were constantly gifted things like bottles of wine, fresh figs and bracelets etc. The Water Spirts Action team were incredibly professional. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. This is a real gem of a hotel.

Coming home...

Hotel Amaryllis is a gem of a getaway. The hotel is stunning, impeccably clean, and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere thanks to the incredibly kind staff. The swimming pool is inviting a d spotlessly clean, and the direct access to a pristine beach with plenty of sunbeds is a major plus. The beachside restaurant where a nice continental breakfast is served daily. The main reception staff truly stand out, enhancing the overall experience. With several supermarkets, car rentals, and a variety of restaurants just minutes away, everything you need is within easy reach. The nearby watersports centre and daily boat trips to Lindos Village and Symi Island were highlights of our stay. We can't wait to return!

The person in the reception whose name I have forgotten was extremely helpful and most friendly. We talked to him quite a bit and he took his time and gave us very helpful advice.

The guy in charge of the restaurant in the afternoon/evening was unfriendly and unhelpful. The kitchen closes at 9.30 pm and one evening we only got back from our day trip around 9 pm and ordered something quick. A few minutes before 9.30 we asked for additional pita bread and received an angry response that this was too late, and we were not served extra bread.

- Amazing staff - they helped us immediately when we needed anything, advised us where to go for a trip (thank you for everything) - big and comfortable bed - Nice pool - Location super (everything nearby) - Free parking right at the hotel I always felt very comfortable and safe, nice energy and authenticity.

I didn't have anything 'I dont like', I might have appreciated a better breakfast - I missed the fruit/vegetables/eggs/local dish. (But, this can be ordered for a fee at the same place).

Amaryllis apartments has everything you need, especially if you are on a budget. The facilities were excellent; easy access parking, decent size rooms with comfortable beds. It was equipped with fridge, kettle and some cutlery, along with quiet air conditioning. Outside the room was a small seating area with a table and chairs and a view of some beautiful flowers and plants. On-site is a restaurant on the beach front that provides really good family Greek traditional food including; Gyros and souvlaki’s and light meals. The layout of this accommodation and its facilities is excellent for people with physical disabilities as is was singled levelled and pathways were hazard free.

Our initial room did not have the best view (no fault of The Amaryllis Apartments, but the hotel next door). Manolis the manager immediately offered us an upgrade which we were absolutely delighted with and grateful of. I was more than happy with this property for the money we payed for staying 8 nights and cannot rate it highly enough for it’s team, location, cleanliness and attention to detail.

So Happy we stumbled upon this hotel. The location was perfect, steps away from the beach. There is a bus stop right by the entrance of the hotel along with several super markets, coffee shop. The grounds are beautiful, very peaceful. There is a restaurant that is part of the hotel and it's right on beach, i enjoyed having my Breakfast there which included a wide variety of pastries, cereal, lunch meat, toast, vegetables, cakes, coffee, juice. The staff was very polite and welcoming. All in all very happy with my stay.

Many shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Hotel manager was super friendly and helpful! The beach was clean and the sand on the beach was nice and soft but you might want to wear seashoes to get in and out of the sea. If you are planning to spend most of the day outdoors and you are ok with a simple and plain room, this might be a great value deal for you.

Breakfast was simple and basic only carbs. You could order omlettes for extra charge.

Wonderful quiet place, the swimming pool excellent 50 m from your room, the sea - 100 m, enjoy the sun and swimming. Breakfast basic, but you can get your breakfast or dinner in one of the restaurant only 5-7 min. walking distance. Cleaning every day, make your coffee or tea, get a cold drink from fridge. What can be better on a sunny warm day! Special thanks to the host.
