Our stay was exceptional! I really think this must be a five star hotel. Not only the facilities are top but the staff really make the difference. They helped us with everything we needed, from renting a car till boat ride to Delos and not only that they were really ahead of our needs. Our room was always impeccably clean and with the right temperature and the breakfast was always delicious and fresh. Chef really makes a nice job there. Nothing negative to add.

Staff were amazing, especially front desk lady (so sorry forgotten her name). Warm welcome, 24/7 support via WhatsApp, transfers arranged by the hotel, so handy! Views and pool were great! Location perfect for us, nearby to the beach!

We stayed at this hotel for a bachelorette party, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They arranged an early check-in and even ensured our two rooms were right next to each other — super convenient for our group. One of the most memorable parts of the weekend was the surprise for the bride — and the hotel staff helped us organize it! They were so supportive and made sure everything went smoothly, which made the moment even more special. One of the standout features was their 24/7 availability on WhatsApp. No matter the time, they were quick to respond and always happy to assist — from making bar reservations to giving us great local tips. The bar had an amazing view — perfect for pre-dinner drinks or just relaxing together. Breakfast each morning was delicious with some traditional Greek cuisine offered. Mykonos Essence played such a big part in making our celebration unforgettable. We definitely want to visit again!

The hotel is on a gentle hill overlooking fantastic view. 7 minute walk from the bus stop and beach. Our twin room is fresh and contemporary however it is rather small for the price they are charging. Notably, there is no kettle and a small tv with only national channels! All staff are very friendly and attentive, special shout out to Niklos who gave excellent customer service.

Despite what other reviewers might said, the food is a major let down. We were on half board basis, the breakfast buffet is passable with limited options. The dinner is not buffet, has it's own 'half board' menu (made to order) separated from a la carte menu. The choice is extremely limited and disappointingly it has never changed over our 11 night stay. The vegetarian linguine was swimming in the oil whilst the beef burger is ridiculously basic with soggy fries (how could any respectable chief not able to get fries crispy?). After every single dish from the menu, we ended up ordering the same dishes night after night. Even with the same dishes, they are often cooked inconsistently; either over-cooked or too salty. I have enclosed photos which you can judge for yourself.

The greeting on arrival was the best I've had- lovely front of house. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was good quality with lots of options. The elevated aspect of the hotel gave lovely views and the location was superb.

The wifi is easy to access but the internet connection speed is slow during the day when many of the guests are logged in and sharing the bandwidth. Early hours it was perfect.

Varied amount of choices for breakfast ... eggs etc, but a lot of healthy options, yogurt, fresh fruit, and of course delightful baked pastry goods. The room, restaurant and pool area were beautiful and we enjoyed the view from every area. Every staff member was friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the location required a steep walk down into town. Of course to get the view you have to be high up, but this is a consideration if you will find the walk hard.

The whole hotel is clean and nicely designed. A premium balcony room became available and we were upgraded, really nice surprise from the staff. The pool area is great and food/ drink service to the poolside is nice touch.

The breakfast wasn’t great as food sometimes tasted stale, although nice to have lots of local Greek pastries. Also the machine black coffee is not nice. Each morning I had to pay extra for a proper coffee from the bar which really for a 4* hotel should be included (minor point but makes a difference to feeling like a valued customer).

We had an AMAZING stay at Mykonos essence hotel. The staff were very accommodating from organising taxis and activities to going above and beyond to clean our room to an immaculate standard, breakfast view was nice as well as the pool. The hotel is in very close proximity to a local beach, supermarkets and bus stops which can take you to Mykonos town for about 2€ per person! Overall, the staff were so welcoming, we all felt very safe and would definitely return!! Love from the girlllllllsssssess xxxx

Firstly, the room was great, nice bathroom, great to have a balcony also! Breakfast selection was good. My wife doesn't eat beef or pork, so maybe more chicken/veg options would have been appreciated at breakfast. But the best thing about this hotel are the teams that work there! Nothing was too much, and they went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The team at Mykonos Essence hotel was nothing less of exceptional and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is great too, we rented a motorbike and was easy to park, and get around the island. All in all a great holiday!!

Gorgeous, super friendly staff, close to beaches and a few restaurants (Farina was the best spot to eat). Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool area was super nice. Food was delicious and drinks at the bar were good. Laundry service was decent price as well and got it back the same day.
