The property is brilliantly situated, close to beach, the bus stop, the Kilimos ferry and the centre of Pollonia for the restaurants and shops. The property was so clean! Everything felt fresh and well maintained. The pool may be small but is great, the whole thing can be turned into a jacuzzi - a couple of sun beds allow for a nice chill out. We loved the fact that there were a great selection of beach towels, and even floats for kids. The staff are really super friendly, so helpful and want to make your stay special. The breakfast offering is good, varied and fresh.

We hated having to leave!!

This hotel is heavenly. It is beautiful, the views from the second floor are amazing, from every window. Breakfast was varied and well done. They left it out extra long for my sleepy young adults. The kitchen was well stocked, we made lunch and dinner several times. The pool was nice, but a little on the cold side. The beach near the hotel was our favorite of the island and it was mostly deserted.

It is hard to walk to town because the streets are very narrow and busy. We drove to the parking lot. Everything else was excellent!.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations! The pictures on line do not do it justice. From the moment you walk on site, you are greeted by colourful florals and greens, arched doorways and bright white walls and the entire hotel is immaculately clean. Our room was spotless and perfectly sized and decorated. Our unit had 4 balconies, all of which were spacious with nice seating and gorgeous French-style doors and windows for each room that you can leave open for a soft breeze. Views of the sea and small boats sailing by were beautiful. The beds were ultra comfy, and all the doors and windows made the place so bright and cheerful. The pastries, snacks and coffee left out in the morning for guests was such a delight! The kids loved the pool and it was larger than expected based on some of the other reviews. Katerina was helpful in giving us a little tour to get to the beach. We loved how easy it was to walk into town, but that at night it was peaceful for bed time with children. Having a kitchen to prep fruit or snacks was very helpful as a young family. This was our favourite hotel from our entire trip to Greece and will recommend it to everyone!

We LOVED everything about this hotel and island!

Kapetan was a lovely, quiet property. Well located, with a lot of amenities including a pool and a gym, spacious rooms and comfortable balconies. Plenty of parking available, and easy walking distance to the main strip of Pollonia. Absolutely loved the day beds on the balcony - a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon!

The property’s walls aren’t particularly soundproof and our room was off the main stairwell meaning we heard the banging as breakfast was being setup early. The bathroom fans operate via sensor so turn off midway through a shower as you’re not in the sensor’s view.

Everything was perfect. The staff room and location were exactly what was needed. Walking distance from hotel to beach dinners with sunset supermarket etc. nice little quaint fisherman’s town. Breakfast was homemade and sooooooo delicious. Mrs.Stella the one who runs the hotel cooks hugs smiles laughs and is the sweetest woman with the nicest personality. Complimentary water beer soda juice honey jam shampoo conditioner and body wash etc. towels sheets were changed and full staff on point the minute we left the room for the beach. In addition what a wonderful balcony and a great way to spend evenings after dinner or morning coffees. Pool gym towels for the beach all given. Thank you to all the staff at Kapetan Tasos ohhhhhhhh want hugeeeeee parking lot no worries no stress no problems at all.

Amazingly generous one bedroom suite (and comfortable 2 single beds in living area), with two bathrooms perfect for our family of 4. The images do not do this place justice, way better than we anticipated. With sweeping sea views from our balcony, bathroom and living area. The staff are what made this place even more special! The hotels location is also a big win with an easy 3 min stroll to restaurants and the best beach and lovely beach bar just a few mins walk. We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect, perhaps would have liked breakfast included in our stay but not a deal breaker.

Lovely tasteful spacious fully equipped suite for our family of 3. Lovely crispy bed linen, full lighting side and top - ample space for two large suitcases and one hand luggage. The bathroom has Korres toiletries which I love. Coffe machine and coffe pods available. They were super helpful for our departure. They let us shower change in the piecine space. Kept out luggage safe. The breakfast was four different types of sweeties and traditional Greek pies plus yoghurt honey and nuts. Plentiful water and juice. Plus eggs and bread. The tv has satellite channels and we could watch the olympics. The hot water was great and the pressure strong. Katerina at the reception was super informative giving us tips for everything! We hope we can come back again !

All was great we were supper happy

We loved staying at Kapetan Tasos, it was a perfect way to end our Greek holiday. The room is amazing, we stayed in Suite 7 it was exceptional. Katerina was very helpful, and gave us lots of tips for staying on Milos including organising car hire for us to pick up at the airport which we were very grateful for. The staff are all wonderful and do a fantastic job. There are some great restaurants within walking distance and we saw lots of beaches thanks to our car. Each morning there was an amazing breakfast which we enjoyed on our balcony.

An exceptionally well designed, decorated and very comfortable property with friendly staff. We had Suite 5 that comfortably accommodated 4 of us. It was bright and airy with 2 balconies. The hotel provided a delicious breakfast daily and snacks remained available throughout the day for guests. We used both the compact gym and the pool daily too.

The property was fantastic, immaculate looked after, welcoming. Katerina and her mother were very helpful, even booking us a taxi for our transfer from the port at a good price. The property had a small pool and gym and towels for the beach. It had free pastries in the communal area daily which were delicious, and fresh coffee, this I thought was a lovely gesture. There is nothing negative I can say, we even had a huge south facing balcony with to huge mattresses which was a real bonus when it was windy and gave us full sun without the wind (suite 4) thank you Katerina and your family and staff for making our visit fabulous
