A property itself is never stellar all on its own. The people make it exceptional. From reception to housekeeping, to kitchen and waitstaff, the people at Naftilos are genuinely gracious and marvels at hospitality. There are many resorts with gorgeous views of the Aegean, Naftilos included. This one features a beautiful pool and outdoor lounge as well. The party is in town, a short drive away. Naftilos is for unwinding. Our room featured plenty of spaces to unpack and stay organized. Naftilos is designed for short or longer stays.

Be prepared for stairs. There are many.

The room was spacious, very clean and bed comfortable. View was amazing from our room - could see pool and Mediterranean sea. Pool was great and sunny all day long. Breakfast was very good choices but make sure you are careful when getting your food not to spill or leave any kind of mess as the some staff are very particular and will let you know.

Not much choice for dinner and you had to get taxi to either Pythagorio Town or Samos Town for more choice. Also hard to walk anywhere from hotel including any beaches. One beach which is through the bushes near hotel is at least 10mins walk and hard to swim at as very pebbly. Great pool and bar makes up for it.

The location was very good, a short drive to Pythagorio and yet very quiet. The hotel premises were very well maintained and the room view was great. The staff was very polite. The premises and room were very clean.

The breakfast had big variety but was the same every day (i.e. same fruits, sweet snacks etc.)

Probably need to rent a car or use taxis to enjoy this location as it's too far to walk along the busy roadside. We'd hoped to use buses to get around but the bus route has changed and it doesn't come past the hotel anymore from Pythagorio. The road from town along to the marina (which then comes uphill near the hotel) is closed because of landslide so can't use that route to the hotel.

Clean, fresh. great view from room and restaurant. fab pool area. lovely walk into town. peaceful. receptionist very helpful. good breakfast. highly recommend.

only downside was it would have been nice to have tea / coffee facilities in room. everything else was just lovely.

Breakfast could be improved with a little more choice.

Spacious room, well kept and clean as was the whole property. Wonderful large balcony with beautiful views. Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception. Modern, stylish and light-filled public areas, small-scale multicolored complex with lovely pool area. Quiet and peaceful.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms. This is a serious and annoying shortcoming in an otherwise very good standard accommodation. Location was a bit off (2 kms from Pythagorio center, all uphill on return and) and the public transportation from Pythagorio passing the hotel was very limited (one bus per day). The again, taxis were available and the trip costs only € 6.

Good hotel, great pool, large rooms, good AC. Nice seaviews from the hotel. Restaurant was okay for dinner.

Was expensive to get a taxi into Pythgorion (8-10 EU one way), and way to far to walk. No public transport. Lots of stairs to haul luggage to the room. No elevator. You really need a car to stay here.

The views from Naftilos were absolutely exquisite. We loved our balcony and our room was perfect. The staff were also very helpful.

The property was an €8-10 taxi drive from Pythagorio centre - however, the staff were able to organise a quick taxi for us each time we needed it.

Breakfast is perfect. Personnel,cleaning are also perfect.
