Wow what a view. The refections in the lake excite at all times of the day and the sunset must be better than Santorini. The owner's cooking was very tasty and the red and white carafe wines were exceptionally good with the grapes named. Breakfasts were well organised, flexible and most enjoyable. Lovely hard working family running the hotel. Lovely to have a pool and pretty garden. There were many interesting artefacts in the communal areas. Large beds was a bonus too. The area is a very pleasant one to visit. Would we like to come back? Would we recommend it and is it somewhere that shouldn't be missed? Yes, yes and yes! We've rated 10 but being honest would say 95%, but staying there makes one feel so privileged. Thank you.

If there is any electrical upgrade work done would be helpful to have at least 2 easily accessible sockets for charging phones in the bedrooms.

The view from the hotel is wonderful, really breathtaking. The fact that there is a restaurant in the premises is super convenient and the food is quite good! We also enjoyed the bar by the pool and the staff was really nice. Bonus point for the amazing breakfast with homemade fresh products!

Not everyone could speak English but we don't speak Greek either so no blame to take here and it did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. The decoration is a bit outdated (mostly the bathroom) but everything is working and does what it is supposed to do. We would definitely recommend staying there if you are in the area.

Location above all and all facilities needed. Very much on its own and several miles from anywhere but that is plain in the description and the reason I booked. Absolutely meet all I expected and good value service and restaurant

Only very slight criticism could be playing piped music into late evening and again in the morning in such sublime surroundings a bit over the top but of course that is very personal

This beautiful family-run in is a truly charming place to stay with a spectacular in-house restaurant. We enjoyed one of our favorite meals in travels in Greece here, and the view over the lake is gorgeous. The room was comfortably appointed and very quiet, and we appreciated the owners giving us one with a balcony overlooking the water, which we did most happily, watching the swallows fly.

Breakfast was great, food was great in general. Staff was very polite and warm. The view on the lake is amazing. A great place for a romantic getaway, wish we had done some of the many activities around the area. Swim in the lake, visit the waterfalls and landscapes etc.... next time for sure!

the rooms are a little bit outdated comparing to the common areas of the hotel, but they are very clean and spacious... The shower curtain doesn t do a proper job in keeping the water within the shower area... definately needs a cabin / glass door in order not to have water everywhere...

The breakfast was wonderful. The idea of ordering it the night before is very good, plus it is a very abundant breakfast and of very good quality. Regarding the location of the hotel it is a bit complicated to access because of the narrow roads but that is also because you are going to a place with a lot of nature and natural beauty. The hotel's swimming pool is also very nice and being able to watch the sunset from the terrace of your room is a marvel.

The only downside is that there are quite a few wasps. Also I thought the lake was close by and I could go to the shore but nope.

This is a large and spacious establishment, old-fashioned (in a good way). There is lots of wood in the construction of the building which has gardens and a pool area, with plenty of places to sit around inside or outside. The place is full of quirky artworks and decorations, it's like staying in an art gallery. The location is stunning, overlooking Lake Trichonida, the largest natural lake in Greece and "a hidden natural treasure" according to the guide books. There was a lot of wildlife around during our visit, swallows and butterflies in particular. The restaurant has a decent menu and decent prices, and everything is cooked fresh in the kitchen. Breakfast is prepared to order and served at the table. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable for what you get here.

We didn't dislike anything and we'll be back as soon as we can.

The hotel was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional and all staff were very attentive at all times. The location was very central to the town and the view from the hotel was spectacular !! Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families

Incredible gem, recently had a few touch ups by the new (young) owners. Insane view, amazing food, really kind people, definitely recommended!!

If they replace the showers and update the playlist at the pool (or maybe turn it off?), that would help.

Great location, staff, and property.

Having music playing all the time at the pool was a bit off putting as many people prefer quiet. Perhaps only play at certain times such as in the afternoon / evenings.
