The location is perfect - very close to the harbour. The staff are so kind, helpful and friendly - they really take care of you. The rooms are basic Greek rooms with good facilities (iron and ironing board, safe, lovely towels, kettle and tea and coffee provided) cleaning is so thorough, my room was cleaned every day immaculately and fresh towels placed there and the cleaner was lovely and accomodating, she could not do enough to be helpful and pleasant. I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel, my second visit, and chatting with the host Mikhalis and his staff.

Nothing - and even though I was close to the late night party bar Amalour, I heard no noise because the window had shutters. So a very good sleep too!

The location is amazing, steps away from fantastic restaurants and the port. Lovely owner, staff and guests. Comfortable room overlooking the mountains, safe and very quiet once the restaurants close (not too late in shoulder season, and we're not early sleepers so they were not an issue at all). The rooftop is a unique experience. We have seen more modern places but we didn't lack anything in those 5 days. Very good value for money on a beautiful island.

Comfortable, basic accommodation in a convenient location within easy walking distance of the port, beaches, bars and restaurants, yet not so central that noise was an issue. Room was nice, including a private bathroom, balcony, view of the hills and air conditioning. Perfect for a solo traveller seeking a brief stay.

Nothing comes to mind that was deficient. It's an older building so the bathroom was slightly cramped, but that's a minor issue.

Charming hotel, easy walk to ferries, close to bars and restaurants. Our room had a balcony, nice to sit out on over the bustling narrow street. Very clean, towels changed daily. Helpful and friendly hosts. Nice view from roof top area where there were tables and chairs, small kitchen.

A little noisy late at night, but to be expected with bars and restaurants close by.

This hotel is charming and quaint. It’s surprisingly quiet at night given it’s vicinity to the main part of town (which makes for a great location for easy access to many shops and restaurants). The staff are eager to help and are very welcoming.

A non-skid mat would be helpful, the shower floor felt a bit slippery at times if there was too much soap pooling while rinsing.

The staff was excellent, very polite, cheerful and helpful. Cleanliness was good, the room was cleaned and the sheets were changed daily. The complimentary coffee packets and biscuits was also appreciated. Very central spot, right on the busiest street of Hydra but without the noise from the bars and restaurants. Overall great experience, would highly recommend. Great value for money.

You’re right next to a few restaurants and some of the best bars in Hydra. The staff are excellent! Super nice and helpful. We were able to check in early, and when waiting for our ferry we were allowed to leave our bags there and grab breakfast. There is a cute little balcony that we would have our morning coffee on, and at night we went to the roof and looked at the stars.

Great location- very close to the harbor. I was staying in a single room (for 1 person). It was really nice and clean and didn't feel claustrophobic at all, the room was actually at a decent size, very bright and warm. What's most important, I felt safe staying there alone. Great WIFI signal. The owners are amazing, very warm and helpful, make everyone feel welcome.

The location is very central, just next to the best bars, restaurants, coffee shops -- literally few meters away. The port is also very close. // The room is very clean and is being cleaned every day, including fresh towels every day (the latter is really necessary, as the whole bathroom gets wet after taking a shower and rhe towels don't dry out till the next day). It is very nice and practical that there is a fridge, electric cattle and cups in the room. There's also a welcome bottle of water and some tea bags and coffee sticks from the house. // The mattress is very good. We appreciated a real double bed (not two single beds pushed together). // There is a very nice shared terrace with stunning views, as well as a shared kitchen on the rooftop of the hotel. We didn't use the kitchen though.

Unfortunately, the windows and walls are not soundproof at all and many people are very loud when they are coming back to the hotel late at night. // The bathroom is very small. The room is cosy but small.

Location, 50 yards from where ferries dock and in the heart of Hydra Port. Fantastic value on this pricey little island.

If you are a light sleeper (I'm not) bring ear plugs as a bar on the same street keeps late hours on Fridays and Saturdays
