We ended up staying at this hotel unexpectedly due to severe weather cancelling all ferries to Athens - but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The staff was absolutely amazing, going out of their way to help us during a stressful situation. They even lent us phone chargers and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, and there was even a sofa just outside our room, which was a nice convenience. Despite the strong wind outside, the hotel and room were incredibly quiet, which we really appreciated. There’s a great restaurant just across the street, and several other options nearby.
The bed was a little too short for us, but that was a minor issue. Overall, it’s a great value and would be perfect for longer stays, not just a quick overnight. Highly recommended!

Good location just a short walk from the port. Cleaned every day, with fresh towels and sheets when needed. We were aware that the room was not a large one, but the patio doors gave it a spacious feel. We asked for a kettle in the room, and were supplied with a tray of cups, little bowls and spoons. The staff were helpful friendly people, thanks Jenny and Dina
A small point, the little fridge although serviceable, co with a update

The place is very well located and close to everything. Hydra is an island with many stairs and up and downs. To get to this place, you don’t need to do any of them. Just a small walk from the ferry station. Good for people who are a bit older and have problems climng up the stairs. You can request them in advance to have a room with patio which there are no stairs to climb.
There are cats all over Hydra and they also have a cat at this place. So be aware of you are allergic to cats. Also the rooms with patio on the ground floor, do not absorb that much of the sunlight.

We Went in the low season in November.. Very nice little hotel , near the port for easy access walking with luggages but not too close so it’s quiet. We had a room overlooking the inside garden with balcony and view of mountains. Small room but perfect for 2 . We had access to the interior garden to relaxe or eat and use the shared kitchen to store food and heat our lunch. They let us store our luggages in the hotel after checkout until the ferry time. Very nice place and great value. We recommend this hotel and the staff was very friendly.

The property is very close from the port, so we had fast and easy access to it. The view from the balcony was amazing, also the lounge are on the balcony is comfortable and pretty. The bathroom was like brand new, with all the needed toiletries. The bed was comfortable. AC and mini fridge to cool the drinks. There also a garden area, nicely decorated. The host she was very nice and helpful. She allowed us to leave our bags and even access the public bathroom/shower after our check out to continue explore the island until our ferry appointment.
The room we received was a bit small but enough for 2 people who only slept there. Who goes on an island to stay indoors?

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful when we asked them about local beaches and transportation. We had a lovely little balcony and the room was very clean with housekeeping optional everyday.
Be aware that the town's bell tower is very nearby and rings very loudly at 7am everyday.

Good location very close to the main arrival port and on the flat. Good value for Hydra which can be expensive. Streets are pedestrianised - no cars on Hydra just horses, mules and donkeys for transport. Modernised, affordable boutique-style rooms which are fully equipped. Several restaurants close at hand. Rooms have aircon. Proprieter is extremely helpful. Breakfast at any nearby cafe/restaurant. Use Google Earth to find interesting locations as street signage is practically absent in Hydra - or just ask a local !
No issues - walking around Hydra to visit sites (Leonard Cohen's house) does involve numerous steps which can seldom be avoided in Hydra.

This hotel is a little gem. We were so pleasantly surprised with the room (and comfy beds). We had a little balcony off of our room and it was so nice to see the street and even the donkeys going by in the morning. The location was amazing--steps to everything we were interested in doing. The hostess was SO kind and helpful, and the price was just right! We would definitely stay here again.
Shower was small, BUT this was the case in most of the hotels we stayed in while in Greece and other places in Europe. I would still stay here again!

The hotel is located right near the main port for the ferries so it is a really easy walk— great location! I also loved that the hotel provided us with beach towels so we could go swim at the many beaches on the island! When we got back from a long day of walking the island and swimming we even had a little balcony to sit on and look down at the cute streets. Would definitely book again!

Location was central, near the main hob of the town, very cosy place, small balcony to the room. Everyday the fridge has cold bottle of water. Deena was very friendly and helpful.
It does have heavy traffic in the morning due to its location and if light sleeper request a ground floor room, as cases on the cobble stones does make a lot of noise, also near a church and the bell rings at certain hours, if early risers - no problem.
