The place is right next door to the main square, where a lot of things happen when you come for the ‘Savaria Történelmi Karnevál’. The train station is reachable in like 20 minutes of walk. The room is modern, clean, and stylish. The bathroom is also brand new and clean. And the restaurant… Simple but fantastic dishes freshly prepared, from good quality ingredients. The breakfast is also high quality and delicious.😋

Not much. In the room 111 the LED screen on the AC unit lights up the whole room for the night. Little bit annoying, but you can get used to it. The toilet is really near to the wall. I mean if you average sized, you’ll have no problem whatsoever. But if you’re tall like me (2m, in American units about 4 and 3/4 bald eagles) you’ll find a bit harder to use it. Otherwise absolutely no complaints, and these are tiny little things, not even problems.

We only stayed for one night, but felt truly welcomed. The staff were super friendly, spoke English, and were very patient with our attempts at Hungarian - even when we totally butchered a few phrases we’d picked up! :P Would definitely stay there again if we’re ever back in Szombathely.

The only minor downside was that the room wasn’t fully soundproof, so it could get a bit noisy at times - but nothing too disruptive.

Central location, very convenient. Parking at back of hotel, entrance straight from parking to building. Very helpfull staff, any problem with splitting payment and invoices for different companies within one reservation.

Fridge in every room would be nice, but of course we were aware of available equipment in rooms, everything was listed on reservation.

I had trouble with the trains due to a technical issue in the MAV lines and I arrived 6h later than expected. I communicated with the Hotel staff who quickly responded with the new arrangements to meet my new requirements. They were very helpful and understanding and if I ever have to go back to Szombathely, it is very clear that I will stay again with them. The location was pristine, the rooms were cozy and modern. The bathrooms were well equipment and clean. I was very happy with my choice. Keep up the good work!

The location was perfect - right on the corner of the main square. Big clean room, with a nice bathroom.The air-conditioning was good. Olso breakfast was delicious with enough choice - the espresso they made was perfect! They speak English and are really polite.

The hotel is quiet. but right off the main square. It is economical and has no real lobby but we liked the Roman themed decor. We had lunch there when we arrived and were pleased they served meals. Breakfast was good.

Comfy and warm, very pleasant staff, nice breakfast and good offer for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Location is the best - the hotel is on the main square, just a few steps away. Clean and nice.

A little bit noisy in the evening, guests were loud and it can all be heard while they are coming back to their rooms.

We only stayed one night but it was absolutely great! The location is very convenient, right next to the main square, it's possible to walk or take a bus from the train station. Breakfast was delicious and our room very spacious and clean with comfy beds and nice furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in Szombathely!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. I think there wasn't any elevator (or I didn't notice it), which might be inconvenient, if you have to carry heavy bags. But it was totally fine for us (we stayed on the first floor).

Wonderfully convenient hotel beside main square close to the Isis temple, the Romkert ruins, the bank, cafes. I liked having a ground floor room, since this small hotel has no elevator. I ate twice at their restaurant which was good value and had fish and vegetarian selections (I don't eat meat or chicken).

My room was small, but big enough.

The bathroom needs some shelves for guests' wash bags and cosmetics. Another rail is needed for towels as the radiator is only enough for one. Parking is a serious issue, due to a misunderstanding we have parking fine!
