The rooms are very spacious and clean. I love the cafe across the street where you have an excellent breakfast and a good dinner and lunch. Depending on the time of day and the wind there can be a fish smell from the factory at the end of the village. Village is cute, and calm, and has a nice swimming pool with 3 hot tubs. If you drive or walk through the village you find a viking house and pretty views. We were lucky to see 2 seals swimming. We did not have a room with your own bathroom, and you do need to share 1 bathroom with 4 bedrooms which at times was a bit challenging. But I would come back, it was a very pleasant and a more authentic Icelandic experience.

The room is very spacious with blackout curtains. The bathroom has a bath. The breakfast was very complete and the staff were attentive to ensure a wide variety.
Noise from neighbouring rooms and especially from the café/restaurant... we were staying in the room above the café/restaurant and as this is a small village it has to be the place to be. You could hear everything in the room, from the music to the banging of the front door until quite late.

After a long journey the owner was extremely welcoming upon our arrival and helped us with everything that we needed. The room was spotlessly clean and was warm and comfortable on our arrival. WiFi was quick and reliable. Property located in a beautiful small fishing village which was exactly a part of Iceland we wanted to experience. We would have loved to have stayed longer had our plans allowed.

The look and design of the place, simple but stylish. Room very spacious, clean, comfortable beds. Very good breakfast with fresh bread and all kinds of healthy stuff. Had cod for dinner, very good.
Only one bathroom. Mold smell in the corridor. Our room turned to the street and there was some noise from the restaurant right across the street. But the weather was good, and people were outside. More likely that the weather will be less good and people inside when you come ;)

Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the breakfast as we had to leave too early in the morning. The staff were extremely friendly, and it was very clean.
While the description did say shared bathroom facilities, I have to admit, I assumed the bathroom would be shared between 2 rooms. (I know, I shouldn’t assume). There were 8 of us (all family) sharing 4 rooms and just 1 bathroom made it a bit tough at night. It was ok for us as we were the only ones there at the time, but it would have been a bit awkward sharing just one bathroom with 5 bedrooms.

Good location in the middle of town. Comfy beds, great shower, lots of hot water, quiet place. Reception is in the restaurant across the street. Their restaurant is perfect for breakfast, salmon, freshly baked warm bread, local specialty spreads, loads of choice, cheese, cold cuts, granola, yoghurt etc Excellent helpful staff. Trendier than most eateries we’ve been in. Very much enjoyed our experience.

We are glad we drove out to Suðureyri rather than staying in Isafjordur. The location was picturesque. Our room was the perfect size and comfortable. The downstairs restaurant served food and drinks so we enjoyed a beer in the evening. Breakfast was yummy.
Luckily, there was only one other person eating when we went down for breakfast. While excellent, it was served in a tiny corner of the restaurant so we had to wait for others to move.

Very clean room with a private bath. The shower was excellent, with very hot water. Comfortable beds, we slept really good there. The staff working in the hotel and restaurant were very kind and friendly! There was a decent breakfast in the morning between 8-10 am.
Our room was #8 down the corner of the street (the photo depicts the central building where the restaurant is located). Also, we had to go up the stairs since it is located on the first floor. In case someone has many pieces of luggage, it could be quite tiring to carry them (no elevator).

Everything! The room was a really good size and clean with a nice bathroom included. I wasn’t paying attention and ended up smacking my head really hard into a cement ceiling thing and the staff were really great in handling it! The manager came in and cleaned me all up and gave me some of those tape stitches since there’s not a hospital super close by. I really appreciated them and the way I was treated. Feeling a bit panicky about potentially giving myself a concussion while driving solo they helped calm my nerves. Can’t say enough good things about this place, and want to sincerely thank the staff for the way they treated me! (I didn’t give myself a concussion thankfully, just a good scar)

Very spacious room - the biggest one we've got in the whole Iceland trip. Restaurant offers delicious options with fresh fish - you gotta check that one. Calm fish village which you walk through in 20 min. Outstanding nature around. Only one road leads to thid village which makes it remote and isolated - great place for slowing down and breath deep.
Toilet was leaking a little which made us worried and surely...the sound of dripping water is not the best. Check out the amenities the first thing to be sure you don't run into troubles in the midnight.
