Hotel is very good, room and bed were good, AC working well on our room. Internet very very good. There is Kettle. Bathroom ok, good shower. Breakfast is good, they have free indian option and few other paid options, like omelette, cheese sandwich, etc

Location despite of be 5 minutes walking to the nearest metro station, that is very good, the surrounding area smells very bad. Hot shower only in the morning and afternoon the water is heated by solar panels that is not really hot, but that was not a problem. Reception calls every morning between 8 and 9am to reminder of breakfast what in our opinion was not necessary as they had informed us the breakfast time upon check in, so if you want to sleep a bit more and skip the breakfast that is not possible, unless you communicate the reception asking not to call.

Had a wonderful stay at alka inn. The 2 lads on reception alfaz and ihsan Are both very professional and helpful. Every request was professionally dealt with . For India standards the rooms are excellent and I would say there possibly 3.5- 4 star. We booked the deluxe room which was spacious with a very clean bathroom, with amenities provided. We requested a late check out which was granted with no fuss at all. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting ahmedabad. All main attractions are reachable via short taxi rides. A very big thankyou to all the staff at hotel alka inn.

Affordable price, good location in proximity with a metro station.

Staff is quite strict in its check-in and check-out time. I don't mean one should always ask for an extension of 30 mins or 1 hr, the thing is, it can certainly become a necessity to as for, depending on the situation. Secondly, if you've been to big hotels in India, the water bottle generally asked for in the room is free of charge. Here they charge for each water bottle.

Our experience at the hotel is extremely satisfactory. Hotel staff extremely cooperative & with responsibility.We left at hotel one one mobile charger-- It was handed overto my friend at the lift gate at the of exit.Later on we were informed that we left one umbrella,the umbrella was kept at the Reception with proper tag .We collected the umbrella on way back to Ahmedabad Jn..

there was hot water only in the morning! At least in my room. Also, a lot of annoying flying ants appeared out of nowhere

Rooms are very clean but need pest control on regular intervals. The staff are very cooperative and helpful. Food quality is good at an affordable price.

Seen some small cockroaches in the room and restaurant, therefore regularly needs pest control

Good hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Hot water and the shower was great. Air con and WiFi worked well. Very modern decor in the hotel and great food, which you can order from a large menu by room service. Breakfast was also good. I would recommend staying here and would definitely visit again, if in Ahmedabad.

Nothing to dislike.

The price comfort ratio is great. It's a budget place for 10 to 20 Euro per night. Nicely renovated, good internet, friendly receptionist, good location, close to the metro station in the old town. I looked at 15 other hotels and this was definitely the best hotel for this price, even though there are other similary hotels.

My room had no window, the Aircon should get cleaned and the doors are not noise resistant which means it is loud. I heard the kitchen up to late in the night and early morning as the door is open and they prepare food or watch loudly movies. The sink has a direct drainage without water smell holder.

The hotel can be easily found being on one of the main streets, with walking distance to the busy area of Gandhi road. Lots of affordable eateries around. Rooms are of decent size, bright and clean. Services are good. There is an in-house pantry for food catering to guests' rooms, but not large enough to have meals in.

The elevator is a bit small. On weekdays the adjacent garage is open, thus vehicles might obstruct the entrance to the hotel.
