Great location, the staff were excellent. We loved the food - we ordered room service most nights and the cost was very reasonable. We had a massage at the Spa which was great. The pool is also great. We particularly loved our room and the bed was really comfortable.

As in most of India the rubbish is a problem. The resort itself is immaculate but it could be improved by removing (and disposing of in a responsible manner) the rubbish on the beach, particularly the private section, around the lake and to the field between the resort and the lake. This would mean the views are as picturesque as the resort itself.

The location was great, not too crowded, and We went there as a last resort for our plans to cut short for some reason or other. But the experience there is something else altogether. Every piece of wood used to build that place is well thought out. The lights in that place were glowing at night and were well lit there. The rest of the service was on par. It is an excellent place to unwind, and it’s getting cooler there. The restaurant food was good, but a bit expensive. The chef's curry was seasoned with salt and spices. The breakfast was they had appams and poori and stews it was okay nothing exceptional seen in most restaurants

Constant power and the power to our cottage went out at one time. It took an hour or so to get it rectified. Also, the mattresses are too soft and sink to the bottom, which is not good for the body. I had a hard time sleeping on it

The staff arranged a taxi from the airport for us that was supper helpful and the taxi driver took us to exchange money on the way. The room was beautiful & clean we was able to use the pedlelow on the back waters all free of charge. The pool was lovely and warm with a private beach area with large loungers next to the restaurant. Restaurant food was nice and large portions you could share. Lovely restaurant down the road chill out cafe & lillypad I would recommend. The property has security who are very on it and just made it feel extra safe.

Was very hot inside the room when we checked in at I pm. The fan's regulator didn't seem to work. We had informed the previous day that we would be there at the time, so it would have been better if the staff had switched on the AC at least one hour before. It was so hot inside the room that we couldn't sleep in the afternoon. The AC in the second room also was performing poorly. The technician came later and rectified it by cleaning the filter. Such routine maintenance works should be done before the guests arrive.

Homely place. Staff were welcoming, friendly and with a simle and attending to all our requests. Place as such is well maintained and next to back waters with paddling facility. One can try hand at fishing too. My son likes fishing and boys there helped me make him happy and a big thanks for that. They have a well maintained pool and facilities to entertain kids as well as cycling within the confines of property. Just across the road is a small beach, part of it being rocky though. Thanks to all the staff Kamal, Biju, Krishna, Unni, Francis and others whose names I have not mentioned. Restaurant also serves good food and Vineeth, Sibu and their team there took good care of us both at the restaurant and for room service. Driver Pradeep who took us around was very down to earth and nice chap.

Beach was small and was partly rocky.i

The hotel is beautiful! The location is great with the beach in one side and the backwaters in the other. Staff were really helpful and kind and made our stay even better. They offer many things to do like bikes, pedal boats and tea time! Our cottage was lovely and the pool amazing. I couldn’t stop taking photos of every corner! We already recommended the hotel to friends

Beautiful setting and my stay in a wooden cottage was great. Lovely to have both the lakes and the beach on either side of the property! Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The pool could have more loungers and breakfast could be improved. Restaurant staff were always very busy but yet didn’t seem to be as efficient as they should be, for example noticing when things were needing replenished, coming over and asking if I wanted a coffee etc

Everything was as-advertised, if not better. Beautiful place, easy access to beach and restaurant, lovely and helpful staff, not too far a walk from Cherai market. Nice and peaceful through the week and great atmosphere at the weekend when all the families and visitors come down.

Great location. Excellent ambiance. Well maintained facilities. Enjoyed the kayaking, pedal boat and cycles.

Food at the attached restaurant could’ve been better- one will expect fresh fish to be served at such cosy restaurants. The game room is a bit congested- at least double the existing space may be ideal

I loved the view from the room. The services and facilities were amazing. The bathroom was very spacious, bedroom could be a little bit larger.

There was power failure. Electricity went off at times. But it was okay, as they took speedy action.
