The room was very nice and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. Large and well furnished with a large balcony/ terrace with ample space. The overall property was very tastefully designed and well maintained. The pool though small, was nice with temperature controlled water. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall, the property was luxurious, spacious, clean and well maintained.

Only concern was the food. For the price you pay, the quality can be much much better even in a remote mountainous location such as Chail. We went fully expecting that there will be no decent external food options in the vicinity. We had all meals at the hotel throughout our five-day stay and tried a variety of dishes on offer. However, while we were charged premium rates, the food quality as well as the portion sizes left a lot to be desired. Perhaps an area the management can focus on improving.

We visited this Luxury Property in June when the monsoon had just kicked in. We were greeted to Opulence. The welcome was nice & so we're the rooms. The rooms were clean & hospitality staff was punctual & well trained. We went on to explore the property which was huge & had different blocks which were well thought off. All in all fabulous time was spent.

I would have liked that the room sizes could have been bigger. Also the food menu was just average. I mean the morning buffet was routine & similar stuff is available most 3 star plus hotels. There was nothing unique in it. Other thing I didn't like much was the size of the swimming pool. In such large property, there could easily have been an Olympic size or a infinity pool none the less.

A wonderful location nestled amidst spectacular mountains – truly a breathtaking setting. The property itself was excellent, and we even went on a short trek with one of the staff members, who was incredibly kind and shared many interesting facts along the way. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation!

Nothing specific it was lovely

This is by far the best holiday I had in mountains and our first with the kids 2 &3 year old. The hospitality of the staff was unmatched for. So courteous, friendly and active. The facilities are amazing. We enjoyed the pool, steam & sauna, indoor & outdoor kids play area, library, Arcade games. Thanks to Anjali who was happy to mind our kids in the indoor play area while we can have some private time as a couple. We did not opt for dinner package instead choose ala carte. Having travelled in mountains before, we had asked them for some local Himachali dishes. Special thanks to Exec chef Rahul Rawat for preparing dishes to out taste Palate and also baking yummy cake for our anniversary. Also thanks to chef Somdutt Sharma for making Siddu for us which was again local delicacy and was not on the menu. Abhishek and Rohit were amazing manning the front desk and were very prompt to cater to. If you are really looking for a luxury vacation, this is a place to go for.

The food was not that great considering the price..however the chef took extra effort to meet our expectations and served us some delicious fish on the last day.

Location is amazing you have an excellent view being at top of the hill

Cottages are a little difficult to excel, the service is bit slower, food gets cold by the time it reaches. Practical problems though but can be ironed out with a little more detailing

Excellency to the mark. Amazing architecture, on top of the hill, stunning views of the Himachal mountains. Super supportive and polite staff. The view was great ! The indoor pool is lovely.

1 - They need to let people have the option of switching the AC on. We couldn’t sleep at night it was so hot. 2- The food quality should be better. Breakfast spread needs to improve.
