1. Property is really nice. I think this hosteller was just behind munnar property. The view was good and you can imagine how good it will look when it’s all covered in snow. 2. Staff was really polite, humble and soft spoken. 3. Location is a bit far from other places, so perfect for people who want to stay away from cities for few days. 4. Rooftop was highlight for me where you can enjoy beer, rum etc.

Few Suggestion: 1. Wifi in last room was not so good. They should install one more router that will solve the problem. Plus network was not in rooms, but i don’t think they can solve that. 2. They should have tie up with some local hikers for small hikes and all which they can offer to customers.

The staff was accommodating. We weren't happy with the room they allotted, so they helped us upgrade to a room with a view, which was great. The food is the same as the other hostellers so good. We asked for an extra blanket as we were cold and they obliged. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff at reception had suggested "Nutri Kulcha" at a nearby cafe, which was amazing.

It's secluded and on the highway. So, if you expect any market or anything you will not find it there. However, there are few utility shops, cafes and dhabas to eat food in case you don't want to eat at Hosteller.

The staff at kufri was friendly and professional. From check-in to check-out, they were responsive to my needs. Special thanks to Rahul for going the extra mile to ensure a smooth stay.The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided met my expectations.I would like to challenge Rahul and Santosh that when we come next time,i will definitely defeat both of you in the foose ball game

Absolutely FANTASTIC view for the room with the balcony. However, the dorms which are in the back don't have a good view and are quite dark. The hostel itself is really nice with an amazing terrace and cafe. Hostel staff is also good and helpful. Rooms are new, well maintained and very comfortable. The location of the hostel is right on the main road, so you can get local bus and other transport directly. They also have a smart TV in the room, so you can watch netflix and other things directly in the TV. There are a couple of restaurants and general stores nearby where you can get stuff to eat. We stayed here for 7 days and worked from our room and the terrace and had a very nice experience overall. Would definitely recommend.

The bathroom ventilation seems to be connected somewhere, and we often got cigarette smell in the bathroom because someone in nearby bathroom was smoking. The Wifi is really fast when it works, but it did drop out sometimes. The pricing for the rooms drastically changes according to availability. Luckily, we got the rooms at a very good price, but when we checked the price after we were there, the prices were almost 3 times for what we paid for the room.

I loved the views from the room and the room was really clean. The Manager Achu was very cordial and accommodating.

They have a policy of temporary Residence Permit for Bangladeshis 🇧🇩 which I was not aware of from before. And faced no such policy declaration during my visa process or staying anywhere else. But they insisted on having a temporary residence permit to stay at the property which was very absurd and honestly a headache after a long journey as I had to spend a considerable time to fix this issue. They did not exactly know either the process to even acquire such a permit. Kindly let your travelers know beforehand that they will need such permit to stay at your property,, to avoid all hassle.

Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide a la carte spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. There was cleanliness maintained throughout. The library had good books, and foosball really made our time there fun! The location is great- right at the road. I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Kufri"

Easy to reach, beautiful view, clean rooms. The host at the reception Ritu is extremely cheerful and helpful. The view from the balconies is just soo mesmerizing. Extended my stay and I'm definitely coming back again.

Unkept and dirty land right outside the balcony but wouldn't blame the property for it. The guests need to be a little more sensible and not dirty the surroundings.

The views from our room were amazing. Loved the balcony - we were able to watch the sun come up over the hills in the morning. The food in the cafe was excellent! Room was bright and clean. Well maintained property, and friendly staff.

It is a bit removed from everything.

Good cook, very friendly and helpful receptionist and fantastic view! Very neat and clean with wonderful staff. Almost every common space has a balcony and pool, foosball table etc. Plus Cafe manager has a good taste in music and helpful. So definitely will revisit when coming to Shimla again. This has been the best hosteller so far. Earlier stayed in Dharamshala and Shimla.

It is a bit cut off so transportation is a little problematic
