The hotel is located in Mashobra, around 45 mins (14 kms) drive from Shimla city centre. The location is ideal for those looking to stay close to nature. The view was amazing from my room's balcony, and the management was kind enough to give a floor upgrade. The biggest asset of this hotel is the staff - very friendly and helpful and provide excellent service. The food quality and taste was also good.

The road leading to the hotel (~ 1 km downhill stretch) can be a bit daunting for amateur drivers, and can be made better through efficient signposting and more lighting during the night

A lot of activities available in the resort like Archery, Table Tennis, Pool (billiards), archade games, VR games, etc. The view from the room balcony was amazing. The balcony was of good size and very usable since no menace of monkeys. The staff was very courteous and all the food preparations were delicious.

The location of the hotel is very remote and it takes time to get on to the main road. The check in desk was pretty clueless about most stuff and did not explain the facilities offered by the resort during the check in. The hotel didn't have any facilities for boarding and lodging of the driver specially considering it's remote location.

Welcome ITC Mashobra was a very pleasant experience. With all rooms having a valley view. we were greeted with an incredibly friendly, always smiling and eager to assist staff. The front desk team especially Nisha, Jitendra, Manav & Vijay expressed their genuine desire to make our stay comfortable and a memorable one as possible. They were multi taskers too. They not only took care of the guests that came in but were also involved in pick up and drop. Buffet is an art of presenting food with style and of course tingling your taste buds.. this is what we experienced at Welcome ITC Mashobra, where under Executice Chef Rajneesh, we thoroughly enjoyed a variety of dishes. His team mates Ravinder (who cooked excellent Chinese), Ajay a master in breads (especially the rotis), Himanshu who cooked finger licking chicken dishes and Tarun, Rahul, Shubham, Ritika & Prakash all had their expertise in one or the other items. At the restaurant under the captainship of Dheeraj the entire staff especially Virendra, Sarthak, Manmohan, Anisha, Shivani, Ankit & Akash were extremely coordial, pleasant, always smiling and very prompt in service. Over all a very memorable and comfortable stay and look forward to Visiting the place again.

Welcome Hotel by ITC in Shimla is an absolute gem nestled amidst the breathtaking hills of Himachal Pradesh. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning surroundings and warm hospitality. Location: Perched at the bottom of a hill, the hotel offers unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It's conveniently located just a short drive away from the bustling Mall Road, providing the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility to the city center. Property: The property itself is a testament to luxury and comfort. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with all modern amenities. We particularly enjoyed the cozy evenings by the fireplace in the lobby, sipping on hot cocoa and enjoying the serene ambiance. The highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor terrace, where we could enjoy our meals while taking in the panoramic views of the Himalayas. The beautifully landscaped gardens are perfect for leisurely strolls, and the kids especially loved the outdoor play area. Staff: The staff at Welcome Hotel by ITC truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service at the restaurant, every member of the staff made us feel right at home. Special mention to the Front Desk team who went above and beyond their call of duty for our requests. Also, a special mention and kudos to the Spa and Wellness Centre staff, who not only were very professional but also warm and amazing! Pet-Friendly: One of the things that impressed us the most was how pet-friendly the hotel was. We brought along our furry friend, and he absolutely loved the place! The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, providing food and water bowls, a cozy bed, and even some treats for our dog. It was such a relief to find a pet-friendly hotel that didn't compromise on luxury and comfort.

Exceptional valley and Mountain View’s with complete greenery Very calm and quiet place. Access road is very steep. I felt very uncomfortable when we went there in the night. This is perhaps the only negative point for this place.

For me it was the calm and serene surroundings, the food and above all the hospitality. This property has an incredible staff. Each and every person working here is cheerful and always ready to help. Right from the reception to the dining you guys made our stay memorable. Special Thanks to Nirank, Nisha, Manav, Shubham, Manmohan, Sunil, Ravinder, Ankit, and everyone else who’s served us delicious food.

The room size i’d say is considerably small. But it’s the other services and hospitality that made us overlook this bit.

Loved everything. The staff was so courteous, helpful and friendly. It was my husband's birthday so without me asking them to get a cake they got one. The food is amazing! The breakfast and pizzas we ordered via room service were yummy. The place is serene and a perfect getaway for couples.

Would love it if there would be a bathtub in the room. The room service menu could be a little more reasonable.

Beautiful location, good food, cozy small hotel

Room size is too small for 2 adults with 1 extra bed. Room is suitable only for 2 persons and not for 3 persons. With extra bed there is no space to walk in the room. Hotel should clearly specify that room is sufficient only for 2 persons and extra bed should not be allowed considering small room size. Hotel needs to have more sit out places. Only a small garden next to Diesel generator set is available for sitting in the open. Indoor games like Pool table etc. are all chargeable. They should be free since there is nothing else to do in the hotel. Overall a small property with small rooms and small bathrooms and not much to do in the hotel.

Excellent location with full privacy Amazing View Best hospitality that we ever encountered before,solid 15/10. We booked 2 rooms with connecting balconies,comfy beds and clean rooms.

Breakfast with limited options. Access road to hotel very tricky and seems dangerous. Apart from these issues,everything was perfect.

The staff was very cooperative and not looking for tips. Rooms had great view. The washrooms were very clean. The children play area was very nice, however, outdoor swings could not be accessed at out visit time as some renovation was going on. The hotel is far from Shimla (17 km away) with some very steep inclines. One need to be perfect driver to navigate those u-pin curves. But we enjoyed our stay very much.

Nothing as such. But the room size was a bit small for the price we paid than the other luxury hotels we have stayed over the years.
