We came here for a three night stay in Shimla and was very pleased we did. The hotel staff were amazing especially Saskhia and Vijay in the restaurant. It was my wife’s bday during our stay and I paid for a bday package for dinner which included a private terrace and room, candlelight, balloons, bday cake and flowers. We also had our private waiter who provided silver service for the food when it came to the table. They went above and beyond for my wife’s bday and I thank all the restaurant staff for their service. The food was Buffett style on other nights and at breakfast which was well made and plenty of it. If we asked for something from the table someone would bring it to you. There was parking outside included at no change and there are electric charging ports also. Reception staff were helpful and treated us with a traditional hat and scarf on arrival which was a nice touch. The spa staff/manager was very helpful and the second lady who did our message was very good. Sorry I can’t remember their name but have included a picture of the manager who also took my calls when he was off duty as I had a time change for one of our treatments and reception put us through to him before he started work which was really helpful. There is a small gym and a small sauna and steam room separate for men and women. Although we booked a couples package and as it was quite they let us use one of the facilities together. The driver we had booked for the week from Phagwara Punjab also commented that this was a very good hotel. Kufri was about 30mins away and Mall Rd was about 20-30 mins away. We preferred this as we weren’t right in the middle of the hussle and bustle. We had great views from our room and from the roof as you can see in my pics attached. The negatives were the room walls were thin and could hear the couple Nextdoor having a domestic. So if possible as for a room with no one next door if possible.

The description of location needs to be honest - it is VERY inaccurate The hotel should make the point that it is out of the busy town and is a quiet oasis. They should not pretend it is in central Shimla when it is 10 kms outside and none of the taxi drivers know where it is! They let their customers down as when you do arrive you are stressed and angry Otherwise - it is to be recommended. Lovely staff and food, all very good

What could have been better - The bathroom smell could have been better (perhaps it was the aroma of the detergent that didn't appeal to me)

very good breakfast . location little far aways from mall road. But this place very warm welcome and everyone here very friendly. And the most I love to stayed here is the cleanliness of the room that made me sleep good every night. Also helpfull from staff here when one of my friend got fever. i wanna say if someone looking for the place that clean , warm welcome , do things for your request and tasty food . Then the orchid shimla is the one you have consider.

I recommend to have hair dryer in Premier valley view room.

very nice property so piceful, enjoyed a lot, food was supurb, all hotel staff was very supportive and helpful. Special thanks Chef sunny for delicious food. my kid enjoyed a lot.

Food was amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were great. Views were great. Staff upgraded to a better room complimentary. Never heard a ‘No’ from any staff member. Staff were guiding us for planning the day. Staff were local to the area. Staff treated my youngest one with great hospitality. Kitchen head Chef came to greet us and seek feedback about the food.

Breakfast buffet was limited , however it was amazingly awesome and delicious food with great texture. There was little to minimal toilet tissue in the toilet.

Our stay was very nice at the Orchid Hotel. All staff members were really helpful. Overall service was very good and attentive all the time. My special thanks to Rupesh, Sheetal, Manoj, Mukesh, Aarti, Rishikesh, Dilip. Also to Nikita who showed a very caring hospitality to check whether we have received transport service or not. Though the hotel was bit far from the main city, but the hospitality was very good and I appreciate their concern and nice hospitality. Thank you so much.

The staff was incredible. From the executive chef Sulav to servers Roshi , bar in charge surjeet , every single person wants to portray amazing hospitality and make your day by going above and beyond.

The only thing is ,the hotel is located in bhaktakufer , a bit far from the city. Perfect for avoiding crowd. If you want to use the swimming pool , with the temperature properly controlled , you must inform a day ahead as when we went to use, that's what we were informed ..

The staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone was very keen to cater to every requirement we might have, Sunny the chef ensured that our meals were satisfactory. Akash and his colleagues managed the check-in, check-out and our modifications smoothly and professionally, Vikram was kind enough to share informations on our request and also gifting a book to satisfy them futher.

Just the location seems too far from the Mall road in a crowded day, otherwise the view is very nice.

Breakfast was a hit and miss the three days we stayed. Samosas were excellent. Arti at the restaurant with her smiling face was endearing. Chef Sunny and chef Upendra were so warm. We enjoyed the himachali dham. It was the highlightt

Bhature and kachori had a very oily smell which puts one off.
