Food was good and staff is also very helpful and courteous. It was nice stay with family.

Parking issue is there as hotel doesn't have their parking space. You have to pay hefty charge to private parking.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hotel Auckland and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The staff members were friendly, professional. The family suite was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high quality linen. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional terrace at the hotel. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu with a variety of delicious dishes. The location of the hotel was also ideal, as it was conveniently situated near lakkar bazaar and the mall. This made it easy for me to explore the mall road with children and enjoy everything it had to offer. Overall, my experience at The Hotel was fantastic. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience during their travel. Manager Mr. Parag, Mr. hari Singh, Mr. Sunil and especially Ms. Aditi were so sweet that they managed everything with personal touch.

Traffic Jam on Circular Road

Stay was quite comfy. This hidden gem just 2 mins walk from The Ridge is a wonderful place. They serve Tandoori dishes and breads. I had booked Deluxe room but unfortunately it does not have a Valley View so upgraded to Super Deluxe and it was just perfect for me. The View of National flat at Ridge , whole Shimla Valley. There was hailstorm during our stay and we enjoyed it with Veg Pakora platter. Clean Washrooms, Clean Towels, Clean Pillows, Super soothing View, Delicious food , all this made my visit to Shimla a memorable one. Thanks Mr.Mayank Gupta for organizing everything during my stay.

A little crowded at this time of year, but thats not the hotel's fault. No other complaints/

This was my 3rd visit to this property and a perfect place to be if you are looking to visit Shimla with your family and loved ones. The location gives you a unique feeling of being in the mountains. Also, just 5 minutes from Mall Road. The location is just ideal. From our room we had a beautiful view of the mountains/valley all in one glance. Don't miss sunset view from their restaurant as well as from the terrace which will make you feel sitting in the lap of nature. Early morning too its very relaxing, peaceful & calm. The food served is amazing and with a plenty of variety for you to choose from. Their chef's were very responsive and good. Their staff was also courteous and hospitable. We also met the owner Mr. Anil Kalra who was very polite and accommodating/responsive to our few requests. We look forward to visiting it again.

Hotel stay was overall good. We were served food till late which we felt was something great. Staff is polite, smiling always. View from there Restaurant is amazing. There was hail storm during our stay which we enjoyed on the terrace. Veg Pakoras were really amazing to have while raining. Prices of food is reasonable and quantity is good. Washrooms were clean and hot water system was very effective. Were were not charged anything for drinking water jugs and hot water jugs. They gave us a Keyring and a natural spring water bottle complimentary as were were booked from Booking.com. Overall will recommend to everyone who plans to stay on budget near to Ridge.

Staff behaviour was very good. Location is near lakkar bajar which is very near to Mall road. Walking distance. Food is very tasty and heighneic. Value for Money. Hari singh ji helped us very much he is very helpful and supportive.

Auckland Hotel is centrally located, just a stroll from the ridge and mall. Rooms were fine, shower hot.

The only downside is the of a parking space. But this is the case for most places to stay in Shimla.

The Hotel is nearby to the Mall road, which is a good thing. The staff is very polite & supportive. At first we got a normal room, but later upgraded to delux. That's why 8/10. The location is near Lakkar bazar. What we liked? The terrace view, comfortable bed & the hotel staff

The hotel gave us the wrong room first even though we booked for Delux. But then later upgraded.
