I stayed for a week and had no issues of any kind during this time. I was out and about for meetings etc all day long but very happy to be back for a delicious Indian dinner every night. I didn't try any of the non Indian dishes but will definitely recommend guests start and end their day with the excellent local cuisine. There was never a shortage of hot water, the area is nice and quiet - as quiet as being near the centre can be - the staff and management friendly and helpful

I was not able to pay with any of my foreign bank cards which were accepted all over India, at the ATM next door and all of Rajasthan.

This is a beautiful heritage hotel, best for those looking for some quiet time (maybe sitting outside by the rabbits!) Relatively fairly priced on-site restaurant with Indian and international food, great for breakfast and dinner, and with simple environment (and a table outside). Reception staff was accommodating in moving us to a room with a double bed, rather than one bed too small for two people and a single mattress on the floor that was assigned to us. Reception staff helped us by exchanging bigger notes by smaller value notes and giving us a contact to book a taxi to get to a wedding venue in Lalsot. If you are heading to Jaipur and need a rickshaw driver - highly recommend Rain as someone who speaks English and will look out for you and take you where you want to go (+919887012290) - not so easy in Jaipur!

Could be a little cleaner, but overall good for local standards. There were some difficulties in communicating with reception staff, but we managed in the end. I personally preferred Hotel Arya Niwas, from the same group.

Helpful staff, good veg restaurant on site. The hotel itself is rather dated but in many ways that is part of its charm. The bed was comfortable and, although the evenings were a bit chilly, the heater provided was adequate.

In common with most mid-range Indian hotels (it seems), there is a lack of soundproofing and a tendency for staff and guests to speak loudly and make noise in the corridors when others are trying to sleep. As mentioned above, the fixtures and fittings need modernising at some point soon.

I thought Tara Niwas was a lovely place to stay, the staff were helpful, the hotel itself was very clean with staff working all day keeping it that way. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good. Very well run, Luna the K9 met me upon arrival, she was very friendly. Altogether a very good place to stay, quite peaceful and relaxing, the first floor balcony was a great place to relax and read a book.

Nothing, I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.

We had a big, clean room and enjoyed our breakfast outdoors in the nice garden. Tara Niwas is located a few minutes driving from crowdy city center and is a good choice for for exploring Jaipur and all its sightseeing highlights.

The hotel is getting on in years but clean and well maintained.

Beautiful building inside out, with a lovely garden. About 20mins from the city center by tuk tuk and also close to the train station which can be very convenient if you’re taking a very early train (no tuk tuks available early in the morning). Included breakfast was quite decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is a bit old and could have been a bit cleaner, but not a big problem.

This place is excellent for stay. I strongly recommend Tara Niwas to people looking for a place to stay in Jaipur. It is located in a peaceful location, the property looks regal, very well maintained. The room size is reasonably good. The staff are very professional and helpful. They have an in-house restaurant where food is very good though have limited options. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed stay here.

Tara niwas is what i highly recommended. Best location. Going out is easy with Tuk Tuk. The place is peaceful, clean and feel safe. The room is large. I even got a separate closet room and bath tub. This place gets a good standard for a good hotel. The atmosphere somehow feels in the garden and peaceful. I even spotted some peacocks on the corridor and they are beautiful. You can also see a bunch of fluffy rabbits in the garden. The food here is all vegetarian. They accept credit card.

Food menu for room services should be more menus.

Comfortable quiet and welcoming small hotel in a good location close to the railway station. It is to get to and from the city centre yet is in a quiet area. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the food in the restaurant is very good. The hotel has an old fashioned charm but has all the modern amenities we needed. An additional bonus was meeting the owners’s pet beagle.

Very clean and enjoyed seeing local block printed fabrics used in this hotel. Attentive and helpful staff. Given written information on where to find local handicrafts. The restaurant was adequate. Especially appreciated complimentary RO water. Loved having functional hot water for showers.

The toilet did not flush fully with first flush.
