From the moment we arrived, the service at Jai Mahal Palace was nothing short of impeccable. Our room, situated on the ground floor, featured a charming private terrace — the perfect spot to unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings. Breakfast was an elegant affair, offering both à la carte and buffet options; the lassi and dosa and accompaniments were, without question, among the finest we enjoyed anywhere in India. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of caloric information for each dish, allowing us to indulge mindfully without the usual guilt. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the hotel’s extraordinary attention to detail at departure. Early morning check-outs often spell disaster for takeaway breakfasts, yet Jai Mahal excelled. We were handed two exquisitely packed boxes, brimming with an array of delicacies and refreshments — more than ample for our journey. To top it off, our request for takeaway chai was met with a delightful pot, kept perfectly warm under a tea cosy, served with delicious cookies. The level of care and consideration throughout our stay was simply exceptional. Jai Mahal Palace embodies the very essence of perfected hospitality

Everything at Jai Mahal was absolutely excellent ! The hotel, staff, grounds were absolutely amazing. It was our 30th anniversary and we were treated so well ! We had a lovely cake surprise at the end of our meal in the cinnamon restaurant and then a further cake and balloons in our room, it was so lovely!! The food was amazing at this restaurant, I'm not that keen on lamb but when I tried the one here, it was delicious, so tender, just fell off the bone. A special shout to the lovely Shipita and colleague (sorry forgot her name but she had glasses) for their kind hospitality and lovely conversations and their wishes on our special day. We had an early flight to catch so had to leave the hotel at 4:30am, we were delighted when we received a beautifully packed breakfast with hot parathas, pickle, yoghurt, pastries, fruit, juice and water. Honestly would stay here again without any hesitation!

unfortunately the pool was not available and it would have been good if we'd known about this in advance.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. Service and food particularly good in Giardino.

Disappointed we were not informed before our stay that the pool is closed, as that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. We were offered to visit the pool of the other Taj hotel but obviously this is not very convenient. Also we wanted to have a drink one evening sitting at the beautiful tables on the lawn after returning from a long day sightseeing. We sat for about 15 minutes. No one came to see if we would like something. I then went inside to ask one of the members of staff if we could have a menu. He said he would send someone out. Another 10 minutes and nobody arrived. We went back to our room. Walked by the man who we had asked for help and there was no recognition or apology. Not what I would expect in a 5 star hotel.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at Jai Mahal Palace for making our recent stay from 18th to 20th August so memorable. My partner Vidisha and I were celebrating her 30th birthday, and every part of the experience, from the beautifully appointed Heritage Room, to the floral arrangements and thoughtfully prepared vegan cake was handled with so much care and attention. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional dining service provided by Krishan. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made each meal feel personal and special. Please do convey our appreciation to him. He truly elevated our experience. Though the pool was under renovation, the hospitality more than made up for it. We were touched by the way your team went out of their way to accommodate our preferences, including the vegan dietary requirements and the elegant birthday touches in the room. Thank you once again for helping us create lasting memories during such a special occasion. We look forward to returning in the future and reliving the magic.

The room was large, well-appointed and quiet. The breakfast buffet was the best we have experienced in India, with wonderful options for vegetarians - including exquisite pastries. All the staff was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They helped with tour bookings and more. The Holi celebration at Jai Mahal Palace was unforgettable - so much fun! And the Holi buffet lunch was fantastic! We also thoroughly enjoyed the food and staff at the Italian restaurant on site and the evening music and dance performances. Although we haven't actually planned to return to Jaipur, I am tempted to go back just to stay here again! AND KUDOS to Md. Raees Khan, the bansuri flute master at breakfast who jammed with my husband on the duduk, much to everyone's delight. Our stay here was one of my best memories in India over decades.

No complaints!

We loved the location, the room and the ambience of the place. The whole experience is truly wonderful. Among the highlights are the friendliness of all of the staff. My wife and I are vegan and the staff was really accommodating. In particular, Aslam bhai, prepared masala desi chai with non dairy (oat) milk. It was a pleasure to wake up to it every morning. There are so many others who were so kind and helpful. The room was nice, large and clean. Even though we were in the city, it was very quiet. We both had wonderful sleep both nights. We also took advantage of the spa and massage services. It was very blissful. Highly recommend staying here. Super wonderful. We will be back.

Really lovely hotel, made all the better by the absolutely wonderful staff, with particular call outs to Mansi, Chef Pradeep and the best hospitality person ever, Vikram, who looked after me so well. The grounds are large, well kept and fantastic, the rooms are also large, the bed super comfortable, and the service, from everyone, impeccable. Really felt like I was staying in a palace which, given you're in Jaipur, simply escalates the experience. And whatever you do, don't go past the Pain au Suisse at the breakfast buffet - simply the best piece of pastry I have eaten in a long, long time, and still kicking myself for not having discovered it on my first morning!!

The only downside is the plethora of noise which could have been due to the situation of my room - I've read other reviews suggesting trying to avoid the 341-346 rooms due to 'unexplained, continuous noise'. For me, it sounded like some sort of machinery on cycle (possibly connected to housekeeping) coming from the ceiling/roof space - but then there's also the noise that comes about from having tiled walkways vs carpeted - the rebound sound off the walls is real. The hotel can't help noisy guests - particularly the ones you have to get up for at 1am because they've decided to have a debrief of their night outside your room - but, having asked for a quiet room, wondering if the request was either not available, or if there is simply no real quiet available.

The entire palace is breath taking. The pictures of the royal family around every corner of the palace truly reflects royalty and makes you feel that you are in their presence only. The palace tour and evening cultural performances are really remarkable and make the overall experience fulfilling. We really loved our dinner at Cinnamon. The food, the ambience and the chef coming to us for a personal feedback was truly a remark of top notch hospitality. However, the options for in-room dining could be better.

We had a fabulous stay at the Jai Mahal and would definitely recommend it! We were given a newly renovated suite (we were the first guests since the renovation) which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 rooms with ensuites plus common areas). The suite was truly regal and splendidly furnished, we could really feel a little bit like Maharajahs! Professional and courteous staff, always polite and smiling, excellent breakfast and food in general (Mr Aslam will make anything happen!), spacious grounds, great atmosphere at breakfast with the flutist and at dinner with the dancers and musicians. The Palace is a calm, peaceful, luxurious oasis in the middle of bustling Jaipur, where we were happy to retreat after a day of exploration. Thank you, we hope we can visit again some day!

If anything, at times, some younger members of F&B staff seemed in need of a bit more training (but we noticed that the fantastic and very experienced Mr Aslam was keeping an eye on them and addressing this so that it would not happen again, we guess). But this is nitpicking, to be honest. Again, we had a fantastic time, would recommend the hotel and would go back in a heartbeat!
