Our stay in Marigold Inn Homestay was perfect. Comfortable room and meals on the roof top were great. Above all we felt taken care of. Contact with the owner was so interesting and inspiring. Janu responds quickly and helps with transfer from Delhi. We had nice trip from airport with Ram. Hotel staff was very helpful. Our stay was enriched by Imran, tuk tuk driver, who accompanied us in sightseeing. He is great man with sense of humour and knowledge about everything what you need in Jaipur. Gave good advices and show the best place with traditional masala chai :) Invaluable help at the end of your stay in the city. Helped us at the train station. Thanks very very much. -excellent stay -would happily stay again -staff are amazing and go out of their way to help -the kitchen and cook were super good and we had evening meals a few times in the hotel which were the best meal ever -initially disappointed with location (it is not in a posh/ upmarket location) but after travelling all over Jaipur, realised that it gave very very good access through metro and public transport to all areas. If your stay is for touring the city and need clean comfortable accomodation than this is the best you will get for this price.

The Hotel is in new city, outside central downtown, but easily accessible by metro. It’s in a very quiet & safe area. Rooms are large and homey. Breakfast & dinner was cooked fresh & tasted yummy! The owner Janu & his crew are awesome. Nothing was too difficult for them and they were always ready to help. Janu also has a private tour company so onward trips and personalized journeys are easily arranged. We arrived without a definite plan but were given loads of suggestions for things to see and experience. A really excellent stay!!

We absolutely loved our time spent at the Marigold inn. You get such a warm welcome when you arrive ,you feel at ease straight away . The decor in the rooms is top notch and the beds are so big and comfortable . The staff are amazing ,so polite and helpful and generous with their time ,nothing is to much trouble and they always have a smile on their face. If you've read any of the other reviews you will probably feel like you know Janu already . He is a legend ,one of the nicest people you will ever meet . If you get the chance, sit down with him over a drink and listen to his life story . Janu knows exactly what the traveller is after and delivers it in bundles . Thank you all so much for making our stay a real highlight of our time in India . I will never forget flying a kite from your lovely rooftop terrace . oh I nearly forgot the food is brilliant too . If you are in the area please book in here I promise you won't regret it . Arrived as strangers ,left as friends ....a fantastic experience and that we will never forget .

During a tour through northern India, which we booked through the homestay owner, Janu Private Tours, we spent two nights at the Marigold Inn. We absolutely loved it. The people are all very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, and the selection is vast. The dinner is equally outstanding. The view and the atmosphere on the rooftop are absolutely beautiful. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset from here. The rooms are also superbly equipped, and the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again anytime and can absolutely recommend it.

Everything was perfect and life was made so easy for us during our stay. Janu the owner who has travelled to over 50 countries has a knowledge of what tourists want and need for their stay. There is everything that you need available from a restaurant on the rooftop with amazing food, to an in-house 'Janu private tours' who can help with tours and transport all over India. The guys booked our onward train to Pushkar for us with no extra charge. There were complimentary transfers from the bus/train stations. Imran gave us an amazing tour of Jaipur by tuk tuk and drove us anywhere that we needed to go. Rahees at reception was so kind and helpful and brought my partner to a cheap tailor to mend some clothes that she wanted fixed. The room itself was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a soft bed and comfortable pillows. There was also a TV, iron, hairdryer and to my girlfriend's delight even hair straighteners! Janu was so helpful with giving us advice for our ongoing journey and giving us contact details of people. I would highly recommend staying here!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The stay was good it was clean the breakfast was good and helpful staff. Good for the price very nice. They give so much good stuff like a 4 star hotel.

No complaints with the hotel just the room size was a bit small no space to open bags if u book the couple room. Also from reviews before booking I thought they provided a cab for site seeing at 1500 but it's actually an auto and 3000 for the cab for the day and the driver tries to push there own agenda, book the guide from me, I will take u too a mughal market it is good, watch this show which all cost more than the actual price and this obviously has his commission, don't do that say no to everything. Else it was great experience.

The whole place was spotlessly clean. Excellent quality hairdryer in the room and iron . This hasn’t been the case with any other hotel in India. Janu the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly couldn’t do enough for us. Equally his brother who works there was so helpful. The delightful rooftop terrace and restaurant/ bar served amazing food with the most delightful hardworking staff it was a pleasure to be there . And as a bonus Janu has his own guide company called Janu Jaipur tours - before booking anyone else you should book him. You will not be disappointed!

Nothing it was a wonderful experience in the beautiful city of Jaipur

The place was affordable and the food provided was good. Since they had only open door dining and since that day the weather was too cold, we got room service. The people were very hospitable and helped us find the way.

The room had very little place to keep things. So it was difficult to keep things, and it was difficult to eat on the bed without a place to keep things. The rooms are close by one another so if you have a loud guest next door, it can get loud.

This is by far the best place we have stayed whilst travelling India. Everything from the food to the hospitality was perfect, the food was so delicious and blew our minds at every meal! It was always fresh and hot food despite having such a large varied menu, there are options to suit everyone. We loved enjoying a couple of beers and food on the serine rooftop that allowed us to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. The lanterns that light up in the evening make it even more magical. Our room had all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel and were decorated as such. We slept very well in a quiet and air conditioned room, the beds were comfy and the balcony was a bonus. A special thank you to Jannu for helping, advising, and entertaining us with your fabulous stories. We feel as if we have made a true friend and are grateful for the effort you put into making your guests stay the best it can be. No request is too much! And also a very special thank you to our guide and driver Imran! You really went over and above to make us happy during our stay, I can’t thank you enough for making our days out so enjoyable, you made us feel so safe, you made us laugh, and showed us the best of Jaipur.
