This place is an oasis of calm. Jaisalmer is an incredible city and staying at this beautiful property only made our experience better. The rooms were beautifully appointed and kept really cool (which was a huge relief from the heat outside). The place is spotlessly clean and the wonderful staff were so helpful with any needs we had. The property is in a great location, just a short walk to most places of interest and has some great food options close by too. The rooftop restaurant was an incredible place to have breakfast- really recommend this place.

Without a doubt Hotel Pleasant Haveli was the highlight accommodation during our trip through Rajasthan. The authentic culture and interiors were tastefully designed to give a wonderful sense of the area. The owner Mr Singh very kindly gave us a free upgraded room which was both luxurious and super comfortable - very much appreciated by us. The haveli is located a short walk to the stunning fort and palace yet was in a very quiet area for sleeping. The rooftop bar and restaurant run by Mr Prem was the source of great food and cool drinks - much needed after a day of wandering around the beautiful Golden City of Jaisalmer. We can't recommend this hotel enough - the architecture, furnishings, food, staff and ambience all made for the perfect stay. We'd return in a heartbeat!

The location was great. I was not happy with the first room I was shown so Manohar gave me another which was larger and had a window seat where I could watch the street life below. Manohar is the manager and was very helpful and understanding. Nothing was a problem for him. The dining area on the roof was a top place for breakfast and also dinner. The view of the fort lit up at night was magic.

The wifi had full signal but would constantly drop out and say no internet available. I gave up and used my own data

The location is excellent, near the fort, and I especially loved a local market near the hotel, which was lively and full of exotic charm. All the staff were very friendly. In the morning, I left a tip on the pillow, but the cleaning boy didn’t take it because he thought I had forgotten it—so honest! Since I had an afternoon train, they let me use the shower when I was back to get my luggage after checking out. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The air conditioning was too strong and couldn’t be adjusted. It was too hot with it off at night, but too cold with it on.

Everything was tidy and clean above all that the owner Sh. NARENDAR SINGH BHATI Banna is a gem of a person, he was so helpful to me as I fell sick suddenly, my God so humble guy. He arranged for me taxi at reasonable price ,not like those camps owners in Sam village. Location of the property is only walking distance from market, hanuma chowk and fort. Rooftop seating area is awesome ,Restaurant serves tasty food and staff uff so humble and helpful. Rooms were tidy, clean toilets cozy beds and much more.

Very clean, professionally run, tasteful haveli style newer hotel. The hotel is located a short, easy to navigate distance away from the entrance to the historic fort, shops, restaurants. We really liked being outside the fort where things were a little calmer (unless there happens to be a wedding party across the street!) The staff were super sweet, warm and very attentive. The restaurant food and service was excellent. We took advantage of the “non touristic safari”. It was a beautiful, no frills relaxing break from the frenetic pace of city life, riding camels in silence an hour into the desert, eating simple food prepared over a fire, sleeping on comfortable metal cots with heavy blankets looking up to the open sky. They also arranged a terrific driver, Dilip Singh, for us to go to Bikaner, Mandawa, Nawalgarh and Jaipur for us. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Super clean and beautiful rooms in a nice traditional haveli, hot shower, comfortable bed, nice rooftop terrace with amazing freshly cooked food (we ate there literally 4 times during our stay) - even the breakfast is great (fresh eggs, pancakes, toast, etc) The non touristy camel Safari was also very well organized and super nice, we had a lot of time with the camels and it was great sleeping under the stars 10/10 recommend !

Everything was perfect

Great hotel walking distance from everything. Room was big with a great shower with plenty of hot water which is often a problem in India. The rooftop terrace was nice after a day of sightseeing. Trem the restaurant's chef cooked amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and provided recommendations on Jaisalmer's dishes to try. Hotel staff was amazing and picked me up at the train station for free.

Our room was huge. It was authentic in style. The bed was large and comfortable. The AC worked well too. We loved the window bay we could sit in & watch outside. The bathroom was big and modern too. The staff were amazing, happy, smiling and wanting to help us with water, food, our bags. They also stored our bags whilst on an overnight safari. When we returned from our safari mid morning our bags were back in the original room we had and we were able to shower and relax straight away, rather than wait for the proper check in time.
