Location is the Best at Kolkata City considering the Business center & most of the offices are located in an around 5-10 km vicinity. Rooms are good, But exhaust in Bathroom would be important. Breakfast is Good and satisfactory, but my personal observation during both days, that customers waste more which is a social crime. There must be "Signage" , Pl. don't waste food, this may bring smiles to many of underprivilege. Rest all is Ok,

The price tag for food items are on little higher side in comparison to other similar category of Hotels at Kolkata including National Chain, stand alone. I have been associated since 2005-2006 for conducting corporate meetings stay etc. Though menu card is available on scanner, but I feel an hard copies of complete menu will be easy reach for customers. No of items are also very limited. There should be more options for Indian, Chinese, Continentals cuisine.

I am an old customer at this hotel, since last 20 years. Sr Staffs are cordial and good.

For the first time in my 20 years of association with this hotel, first time I was asked to pay the room rent before checking in, even though I had told the reception lady, about my profile, & one Sr. Staff was also present exchanging pleasentaries , yet the lady was insisting on advance payment. I have been travelling to many international & domestic destinations & staying with Holiday Inn, Ramada etc. no properties has shown such an indecent attitude & approach. It's a humiliation & question of my integrity which obviously allows me to rethink of booking peerless hotel, kolkata. This is not a professional approach

I have been visiting this hotel for last 15 years and have seen the detoriation in services and quality of food. The restaurant staff are very polite and friendly but lack of skill is bringing down the level of services. They just forget to give drinking water, spoons, forks and knifes. You have to ask for every little things.

The air-con in reception has a stale smell which is very irritating. They must have fresh air change to avoid such smell.

The new Club Suite was very nice. Aaheli food was excellent as always. It is still serving one of the best bong cuisine anywhere in the world for over two decades, in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs

The constant loudspeaker announcements from a bus stop nearby and other political rally announcements on the loudspeakers throughout the day were major irritants. An additional oprational elevator would have minimized the wait times for the lift

During my recent four-night stay (Room no: 603, Dt:11-Apr'24 to 15-Apr'24) at the hotel, my family (Wife & 13yrs Son) and I stayed in the Deluxe room. We were impressed with the room's comfortable bed and large windows that were full of daylight & with a stunning view of the city. The bathroom was well-maintained and had excellent water pressure, which we appreciated. If you need a king-size bed along with an extra bed, the hotel reception can arrange it for you at no additional cost. Additionally, the housekeeping staff is always available to assist you. Just dial 3, and they'll be at your service promptly. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and comfortable, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free experience.

We liked the property very much as it was near Oberoi grand and it is as luxurious as Oberoi could be. Services and breakfast buffet were the best. I mean i have mostly stayed in 5 star properties , in comparison to those 5 star properties their breakfast buffet is unbeatable. They were really cooperative we got so late in our checkout but they understood our situation so well i am really grateful. The staff who served us in buffet was exceptional especially AMAN he was really helpful when we were eating and was serving us with all his heart. I can’t thank enough the hotel and the staff for such a good experience.

There is nothing as such , but yeah tea in room service could be better i mean that was the only thing which was not upto my liking and taste. Rest everything awesome

They gave me a room in the Annexe, which I didn't like as I preferred the old building which had some charm. But they moved me into the old wing which I greatly appreciated as it also had a large window with a view!

The breakfast! The Chef did not know how to make scrambled eggs? He was boiling up the milk before putting in the eggs!! I decided to go no further, and left without breakfast!

the 9th floor rooms are not at all good, also the room that i was put up in first in the annex building had windows that were all filmed up so felt very boxed in.. thank fully they changed my room (twice) for which i am truely grateful. the first two rooms were certainly not worth the price but the one i settled in was good.

The rooms were spacious for Kolkata centre. The hotel was very clean to western standard. The restaurant was very good. The breakfast and evening buffets were excellent. Nice touches like the traditional chai wallah and the dosa stand. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The small gym on the 9th floor was well equipped and with a great view overlooking the park area.

Had to come home...
