The property was very beautiful. It has got amazing gardens, and a very serene pool. The rooms were comfy. Had all the necessary amenities. Staff was extremely helpful. We stayed at the resort during Ramadan, but that didn't deter the staff from giving their fullest. Particularly, shout out to Shamsudeen for an easy check-in process even at 3:30 am.

Breakfast was the only thing that could improve. Not really complaining about the breakfast, but could do with some improvement.

Amazing Resort The staff at the resort genuinely go out of the way to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Great service, beautiful place especially pond and garden area. Its in the middle of greenery, with a wonderful ambiance and calm atmosphere . Staff were very attentive though not intrusive. Food was pretty well prepared and rooms were organised well. What we loved about this property is the service - outstanding and difficult to match. You can read all about it, but is the one that must be experienced. Highly recommended

Beautiful green area, privacy, peaceful place, view from villa on the top is amazing, sounds of birds, staff is amazing and helpful, this place looks in reality better than hotel pictures and usually it’s opposite. breakfast I can give 4 stars it’s not a big choice but everything delicious and fresh. Love fishing experience and candle light dinner also.

actually it’s more like private villa place look like but it’s will be amazing if they will add some activities like yoga classes or meditation and this place will be much better with at least small gym and spa. also hard wooden sunbeds next to the pool and it was no hot water

One of the best resorts I have visited till date. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The dining experience was very hospitable and the food, delicious. It was a relief to walk among such a quiet and peaceful environment. The property itself is magical and the commitment towards being sustainable and the concept of building rooms without harming the nature is commendable.I have high respect for the makers of this place and of every single person maintaining it. Thank you for being a wonderful host, Team Le Candles. We are definitely coming back.

Serenity at its best. first of all i highly appreciate the team for providing such a memorable stay. we even got a free upgradation to pond villa which is a must you guys should experience. mid of nature with a beautiful view of swans in the lake. also it was heavy rain and the staff tried their best to give us a comfortable stay. breakfast and dinner was quite delicious. it seemed they prepared the food after getting the order from us. so the mean time we spent in the billiards pool till we get the food. Also we had candle light dinner in the middle of pond which is an unforgettable moment for us. I highly recommend this paradise for those who loves nature and peace.

wonderful staff, food in the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast had a lot of great choices (ideal for vegetarians and vegans) very fresh, healthy dishes. perfect location for the University. For non Indians or even for Indians on holiday the hotel runs excursions and can organize events for groups and individual travelers. Very safe in a nice part of Kerala.

Very good kitchen. I loved breakfast and local offered food. Silence was there in the property. Very very nice stuff, they really served us the best. Please visit if you want to feel comfy and nature same time. Amazing property, but you have to love nature to enjoy. Some animals might jump into the room if you leave it open - this nature!!! Loved it so much.

I didnt like they dont offer coconot water neither papaya juice - even it is so easy to get from the road village these fruits.

Well cleaned and a diffrerent type of experiance. It was location on a hill top with so much of nature and water. Really amazing to stay. I have just stayed for one night but felt like i should have been booked for two nights. This hotel is located in very small area without distroying the nature and well maintained.

Small water leaking was there while its raining. Breakfast is not upto the mark of 4 star hotel and that need to be impreved a lot. For the payment their contact less (wifi) payment system was not working and they dont even accept international cards. As an NRI i did not have any local credit cards with me and i was forsed to pay from local debit card. Other than this rest all was really great and we enjoyed the stay.

The serene location of the premium villa, is like sleeping in the clouds, special mention of the excellent chef, the food was awesome. The ambience was cozy and the service was pleasant and welcoming. This place can bring back energy, highly recommended for stress release and creative people looking for silence.

Too awestruck, could not have the eye to notice. Yes the pool water looked a little hazy, for that environment a feel of transparent water will add to the serenity. Light background music that does not overpower the natures sound would be welcome. There were cats and ducks, more pets would be a great idea.

We were checking for some good staycation spot in Calicut where we can actually relax and enjoy.. We came across Le Candles and booked our stay there.. As we expected we didn't go wrong in choosing this coz this place opens up their guests to a completely new level of hospitality. The cottages have unparalleled view and privacy, and the restaurant serves great food.. I strongly recommend it to everyone traveling to Calicut!
