Most things from check-in till check-out were a pleasant experience, smooth so as to almost calm the weary and/or ruffled traveler. Himanshu at the check-in counter was most helpful in accommodating an early check-in request. The staff at L-14 were always attentive and sensitive to the needs of all who needed assistance of any kind while dining.

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast spread was very nice. View from the Skybar on the 16th floor is wonderful. Check-in and check-out formalities were carried out very fast.

Room walls appear to be a little thin. So sound from adjoining rooms come in which should not happen. There is a mall next to the hotel. They have open air performances in the terrace which causes some disturbance.

Himanshu started out the day very well for us by welcoming us, entertaining and providing for our request positively. B'fast at L14 also was a wonderful experience, right from the staff taking exceptionally good care of us and every request - to the quality and quantity of food served/avlbl at the buffet.

Good spread and very responsive staff. Great location and beautiful view from the coffee shop and bar area. Tasty food in breakfast.

The housekeeping did not check the freshness level of the room at the time of check-in. We had to move to another room and honestly speaking that too did not meet my expectations but we settled for. As the cooling progressed, the smell (of the dampness) lessened. Room freshner was used too.

The booking was done through Higher Room Tariff, though it was done through Booking.com, which is supposed to be at a better rate then Direct ones, but my colleague was offered similar room @ almost 25% less tariff. So felt cheated. On enquiry at the Front Desk, the simple reply was that they can do nothing for booking made through 3rd party portal.

This is a great hotel for a trip to Lucknow and the surrounding areas of UP. The hotel is clean as can be, with wonderful staff and excellent rooms which are finished to a high standard. We had a premium room on a high floor which overlooked Ambedkar Park so the views were amazing. Finally head up to the roof bar at night for some cheeky beers or cocktails. I would highly recommend this hotel. Do not waste money on names like the Taj (which is next door).

There is nothing I can say we didn't like.

I loved the breakfast, The room service was so fast and they were so polite. The rooms were clean.

What i didn't like was the receptionist. When i visited the place to check in two of them were murmuring something which i think wasn't the right gesture. Also while checking out she told me to wait 2 mins in the sitting area and forget that she had told me to wait in the lobby as i was getting late i again went to ask her then she said sorry sir i forgot. I found this lil unprofessional.

Breakfast was sumptuous and we particularly liked the helpful staff who attentively served us with care , as we are Seniors. I would like to mention that amongst your staff , Rahul Sirdar, Sakshan,Ujjal,Kirti were personally took great care to serve us and cater to our needs. I thank them all for their personal touch. Very praiseworthy for Renaissance hotel.

No complaints.

Property is with all modern construction and latest amenities. Roof top bar, which is pool side, is magnificent. They upgraded my room to a suite with their compliments, for which I appreciate the staff.

Surprisingly, hotel doesn't have Spa and saloon. I don't know whether a property can qualify to be a 5 star without these facilities. On query, I was told that it is a business hotel, therefore, spa and saloon is not there. On the contrary, there was a wedding function in the hotel. I am surprised to note that a business hotel doesn't need spa and saloon, but it can organise wedding functions.
