The location is very close to town, and the area is lively all the time. The staff were very happy to assist us with anything. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay. And the wifi is excellent!

A bit too far from the centre for us 3,6 km from Meenakski Temple Few buses going to the centre/train station we waited ca 20 min and took a tuktuk Two windows, one going to the corridor, it was a bit too bright in the room, even with navy blue curtains It would be helpful to have a mosquito net in the window to open the window for the night

We enjoyed our stay at the david residency. Yoel and Joshua David, who run the place, hosted us helpfully, efficiently, ever responsive, speeking very good english. They sent us to nice local street food ventures and a neighbouring local restourant in particular. The Meenashka temple can easily be reached by a 10 min Tooktook ride from the relatively quit neighbourhood. Basic rooms, AC (make sure to take window room).

At first got a room without window. This was immediately solved and we moved to a first floor room with a window, giving ventilation but facing blank wall. All rooms seem to have windows facing the common corridor.

Very convenient place in Madurai for a short term stay, the place is easily accessible from the bus stand also very convenient in taking auto or taxi from the place . Mr.David is really helpful in guiding regarding any doubts they even let me keep my laggage after my check out , I would highly suggest this place for beginners arriving in Madurai !

Blankets can be changed!

The people at reception were warm and approachable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The cupboard and other hanging facilities were very good. Just one suggestion - Keep a rod in cupboard for hangers. We stayed at 205, 201 and I guess 103. 105 was not that good as in AC and Fan were not that good, also flush had some problem. But they changed my room to 205 immediately and that was very comfortable room. Overall stay was very good,

All rooms shall have such good condition. An an extra micrwave to heat parcels will go long way in this hotel. Minimal charge can be taken to cover electricity cost.

- The rooms were clean and neat. - The staff were were courteous and friendly. - We were provided with towels, soaps and water bottle in the room. - The rooms and bathrooms both were spacious enough in the triple room.

- The triple room we were given was on the first floor and this property doesn't have a lift and as I was travelling with elders, it did become difficult for them to climb up and down the stairs each time. - The water heaters in the bathroom were instant water heaters and it did take time to fill up the buckets. - I parked my car right in front of the property and i was a bit scared if anybody might hit my car as it was almost protruding on the road.

Easy to locate, cozy residence, exceptionally helpful staff. Particularly pleased that early check-in was possible as soon as a room became available. Location is bang in the middle of good food, great connectivity (public transportation and autorickshaws) and points of touristic interest (Periyar Arch, Gandhi Museum, Vandiyur Lake, Meenakshi Amman Temple). Highly recommended as "home away from home".

Access over phone and online presence can be improved.

The entire hotel and the rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. This is a complete family type stay where we don't find bedsheets with gross stains or untidy corners. This place has fast and free WiFi, hot shower and pet friendly. We were traveling from Hyderabad on bikes and rode almost 1100 kms and reached at 12 PM. We had to take good rest, the staff understood our concern and did not ask us to vacate at the checkout time. They gave us another 2 hours of extra time to stay. They helped with local information, places and other things.

I’m a YouTuber and I love to type detailed reviews of the place I visit. Things I loved 1. the location ( plenty of restaurants near by) Bus stop is just around the corner 2.staffs - was shocked when I found a boy with a tumour on the front desk.(not a pretty sight for guests) When I enquired the management , they told me that that boy has got a tumour on his face since birth and is non removable. This really moved me.no one would have taken this chance to appoint that lad on such a place.that too on the front desk Other than few mosquitoes , the place was perfect for my trip. I had to stay there for a night ,to continue my travel to Kanyakumari. 3.completely safe for family travel! 4.room had all the required amenities., would love if they provided iron box.

The room we got was very clean and top notch with proper amenities. The staffs were very helpful regarding anything when asked. Also the room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean which is significant for anyone looking for a good place to stay. The location was also easy to reach and food outlets were available just nearby. Overall it was a great experience for staying for business or leisure purpose.
