The hotel location and the furnishings were good.

Pathetic service. Very unprofessional staff. Manager was extremely rude. Breakfast was not good at all. I am not going to recommend for the price we pay.

Nothing just the location

We made our booking for a three person cottage room via booking.com. The property has a vast expanse of garden with a variety of flowers. They have their own strawberry and mulberry farm within the property. There is open parking space inside for people who are staying in the villas and cottages. The rooms are spacious and have a pretty ambience. You get a separate verandah type of area just outside your room to enjoy the views and have high tea with your family and friends. But this is where the beauty and fun of the place ends. The bedding was unclean and the pillows were smelly. Talking about the service, the manager at the reception has a very bad attitude problem. He was completely rude from the get go. He threw the key on the table after we did the check in and was not accommodating of any minor requests we made like: asking for a mosquito repellent machine, or any minor issues with room. There was only one person who was in charge of bringing water,food,towels, etc to the room for you. There is no intercom inside your room if you want to call the reception. You need to personally go there and ask for anything that you need. They did not even put a bottle or jug of water inside your room, which is the least minimal thing hotel owners provide everywhere. There is limited to no network inside the premise and the Wi-Fi provided also does not work. There was a power outage during our stay. There isn't sufficient provision for power backup. So we had to stay without AC for the whole day. In the night also we had to make multiple requests to turn the AC connection on, as there was no fan inside the room and the room was heating up. On top of that, all the manager had to say was we can't do anything if there is no power. Yes you can do something, and that is to increase your backup supply. We are getting charged for an AC room and the facilities that we are getting is that of a non AC room.
