They property which is an extended bungalow has a wonderful old world charm to it, old wooden furniture all solidly constructed takes you back in time. The staff, right from the front desk to housekeeping and room service were always polite, accommodating and prompt. The food too out of the kitchen, though simple, was always delivered promptly, hot and tasty. The surroundings though heavily wooded were kept exceptionally clean..Mahabaleshwar in the monsoons with the mist and light showers is a truly heavenly place for a quick getaway from city life. I would certainly put Citrus Chambers up there with the best retreats in the Hills.

Pick a good spot to park as the parking while ample is open and heavy foliage drops on the cars in the rains. Remember though that Tuesdays is is wonderful village market day and if you are checking in or out on a Tuesday you will have to park elsewhere and walk up to the hotel. Fresh vegetables to all sorts of condiments and wares are sold on the road that day.

The location is excellent. The rooms are huge, comfortable and well maintained. The property is neat and clean. Staff are also helpful and courteous.

The breakfast area is too small and cramped for room. It is not adequate for the number of guests that they have. Avoid coming here on Tuesdays. They have the weekly market on the approach road. They park all vehicles far from the property and if you are checking in or checking out you have to walk up or down the hill respectively with your luggage through the market. I wouldn’t blame the hotel for this. But it is inconvenient.

Very much in the core area of Mahabaleshwar and yet away from the hustle bustle of the market place. Very comfortable place to stay. Only don't check in on Tuesday as there is a local mkt held on the way to the entrance of the hotel and you have to park your car in the police ground, which is 5 min walk from the hotel, and call the staff to carry your luggage. Rest all is perfect.

Nothing very specific.

The amenities were top-notch, and the culinary offerings were delightful, enhancing the overall stay. The restaurant had an impressive spread, and the staff was exceptionally courteous. Mansi and Vikas, who served us, were particularly attentive and helpful.

I would like to suggest a slight improvement in the cleanliness of the Junior Suite building (I mean outdoors).

Good sized room, properly clean overall, top of the wardrobe was dusty. However few people could have reached up there. I put my bag up there. Breakfast was good nice choice and excellent omelette. Dinner also excellent and comfortable and peaceful away from the honking of horns in town. Two minutes walk to the Centre of town. Staff were super helpful and even assisted a taxi driver by phone to translate for me. I stayed in 3 hotels in Mahabaleshwar and this was the best by far and not the most expensive.

Safe, Clean, Nice layout with some out door spaces, pool but didn’t use it. Priced well. Fresh relaxing environment. Made the fantastic views of my overpriced stay at another dirty, rundown hotel feel such a rip off. Availability force me to go elsewhere. I would return anytime.

Staff was very helpful and very polite. Breakfast was very good and tasty. restaurant rates for dinner and lunch (A la Carte) are pretty expensive. 5-star hotel prices. Rotis are very expensive i found. Overall stay and place is very very good. Can skip lunch or dinner if u can have outside. I will visit again if given a chance. Very close to market and everything is accessible. Staff will never tell you NO for anything. Love you all!!

NICE LOCATION , AMPLE CAR PARK , CLOSE TO MARKET, NICE FOOD , LOTS OF GREENERY AND OPENNESS. STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPING , SORTED OUT OUR PROBLEMS VERY QUICKLY. GOOD BREAKFAST. SWIMMING POOL IS A NICE ATTRACTION FOR KIDS.

IN ROOM NO. 2007 , THERE WAS NO SHOWER CURTAIN THUS GETTING WET EVERYWHERE AFTR THE BATH. NO HAND WASH NEAR THE BASIN. THE COVER ON THE FLUSH VALVE FOR THE COMODE WAS MISSING. IN ROOM NO 2003 , NO HAND TOWEL WAS PROVIDED AT WASH BASIN. THE DIGITAL LIGHT SWITCHES ARE SOME WHAT NOT EASY TO OPERATE TO THE OLDER GENERATION. DRESSING LIGHT WAS NOT WORKING.THE CROMA ANDROID TV TAKES TOO MUCH TIME TO GET STARTED.

Very well maintained, neat n clean . Service is prompt and on time.

Warning boards should be put up near windows and balconies to keep them shut if not in use as lot of monkeys were seen roaming outside our balcony during our stay.

Appreciate: Location_ 5 minutes walk to the Mahabaleshwar main market, yet away from the noise. Surrounded by lush green forest & views. Beautiful property reflecting old world charm, with modern amenities in the rooms. Very courteous and helpful staff with smiling faces, reflects the commitment of the management. A pleasant experience from check in to check out. Congratulations. Keep it up.

Suggestions: There's room for improvement in the ala carte and breakfast buffet menu. The ala carte could have addition of some continental dishes ,( veg & non veg ) and fish based dishes will be appreciated for non veg eaters. Breakfast buffet could do with addition of one or two more variety of fresh cut fruits. Live dosas will be an instant hit, if can be arranged? Some attention required to train the staff in preparation of an appropriate cup of coffee / tea with right proportions of ingredients...will avoid wastage as well. Stay & Food are the mainstay of the Hospitality industry. Keep raising the bar. Best Regards, Vishal Arora.

Overall Food is good, Staff is really excellent. Cleanliness is good. Peaceful stay. Property is also good, only would be good if little maintenance of furniture is done. Also some parts of window are rusted.

Lacking maintenance of furniture.
