I stayed for a week at Minimalist Hotels and really enjoyed it. The room was big, clean, and had everything I needed. The Wi-Fi was solid; the café downstairs is perfect to chill or get some work done. The location is great – you’re close to all the bars and restaurants, but in a quieter part of the village; also just a short walk to the park and lake if you want some peace. Preeti at the front desk was super helpful; she gave great restaurant tips and always welcomed me with a simple, warm smile. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a calm but well-located place in Delhi.

The hotel staff was warm, welcoming, well spoken and willing to go the extra mile to help. As a solo female traveler who arrived at almost midnight, I was a little bit worried about my safety but I was immediately made to feel comfortable. The hotel was safe. I do wish I got a room with a balcony but considering I was just using the room to sleep, it was okay. I was in the biggest room on the third floor where I was upgraded for free. The lobby was quiet. Clean bathroom with good fittings, toilet roll and hot water. A decent breakfast in the morning which also I was offered for free and the staff also received a package for me in my absence. Overall, they were incredibly kind to me, which I really appreciated.

There was no lift but that is also part of the charm of the hotel, it's like an old Delhi 3 floor building. The road that leads to the hotel is being repaired and looked a bit doubtful at night. But that's again, just Delhi.

Everything is perfect about Minimalist One in Hauz Khas Village . The support staff at reception, specially Preeti was amazing and offered us an amazing upgrade to the exclusive glamping suite at the terrace. The service was top notch and I would again choose them for my stay here at Delhi anytime . Thanks for making our stay extra special , everyone from house keeping to support staff deserves an applause for customer service.

Views , nearby market place , food options and convenience

The location was great, right at the heart of Hauz Khas with brimming night life fun. The breakfast too was well thought of and presented as a cozy and comfort dish. The eoom was spacious and gave a really good Japanese vibe.

We had checked in late by 5 hours on the first day of our tour. However, we also had a 2 hrs late check out on the last day. The expected the staff and the management to have been a little considerate of the above fact and not charge an additional fine amount of 1000 rupees. This is a system of management well established in almost all hotels in Delhi.

the location next to the deer park is great and safe. it was a little bit chilly in decembre but they gave me a heater. nice & comfy bed, good food and lovely waiters in the cafe (greetings to Birju + Pawan)

pick up service at the airport didn´t work - please improve here. i travelled alone as a woman and luckily a lot of people helped me. but you gave me a ride to the trainstation a few days later + everything was fine

Great tidy rooms with nice designer touches. Super clean and comfortable, the in house cafe has amazing food. The area is just a regular Indian living compound, so nothing to be nervous about. As a solo female felt perfectly safe to come/go at all hours. The village is cute, and the park next door an amazing green space to walk in. And yes, taxis may not reach the door but it's a short walk to the gate. I rebooked a room for my return to Delhi in a few days again.

We loved the decor, the room was very spacious. Had warm water. Lovely comfortable bed and very clean. Had a lovely rooftop to sit on. It was lovely lit up at night. We had a kettle with tea and coffee. Mainly, the biggest plus was the area. We really enjoyed the area. Our favourite area in Delhi. Had no hassle at all in this area too.

Sometimes we could hear the stray dogs and peacocks in the morning but that isn't the hotel's fault.

The food was good, they made an effort to cater for my gluten free diet. The staff were very friendly and helpful in general. The location is good.

Our room was on the 4th/5th floor and as we are in our 60’s, a lift would have been very useful, particularly after I slipped in the bathroom and injured my knee. Also, we arranged with a Letsbunk member of staff (and paid more for) 2 SUV’s for our return airport journey. They sent 2 normal cars which we struggled to get in with all our luggage. We could have arranged this ourselves and paid a fraction of the cost. This did leave a sour taste ,which was a shame, as in general the staff and hotel were very good.

The location is great, at the heart of Hauz Khas village, close to many pubs. The decoration is minimal and modern. Rooms are spacious and have all basic amenities. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. The cafe downstairs, “Fika”, offers great coffee and food options. A must try!

The property where we stayed does not have an lift/elevator. Even though the staffs helped us with our luggages to carry upstairs, but it’s a problem for them too to carry heavy bags upstairs. The road is really narrow where the property is. Hence taxis might might refuse the come all the way in front of the hotel gate.

The staff were great: super friendly, went out of their way to help us. The vibe was cool and the location good. The hotel was large and spacious and opened up from the narrow, crowded streets outside to a very spacious interior. The suite was large and had some lovely touches like an oil burner and plenty of furniture. The breakfast was good (although a little small). Overall, a comfortable place to spend one night in Delhi.

The bathroom was very shabby and needed a lot of work: shower not clean, toilet seat scratched up, shower head squirted at funny angles, but worst of all the hot water lasted barely a minute, which was horrible in the freezing cold Delhi winter. Also, it was a cold night and there were no extra blankets. In the morning I noticed an air conditioner which I guess might have had a heating function, but nobody pointed this out to us when we checked in (quite late) and it really was a cold night. I've travelled extensively in India and all of these things are to be expected in budget accommodation, but we paid quite a lot for a suite: this was not a budget room. Overall the stay was good but the value-for-money here isn't great.
