There is very, very little we didn't like. This was our 3rd or 4th stay here and now we are back. The staff is very kind, friendly, attentive, etc. The breakfast is very good and tasty but the portions are just a little small but the coffee is supurb. There is a terrace/cafe on the roof with a few good views of the city. The train station is very close by, just a 10 - 20 minute walk. Smyle Inn is just steps to the main bazaar road where you can shop for just about whatever you're looking for. There is no elevator/lift but the stairs are not too steep. My brother and I are in our 70's and disabled but don't have too much of a problem.

There was very little we did not like, but considering that the building is an older building, all of the better things makeup for it. There is no heating in the hotel but they will provide you with extra blankets with a "Smyle". The next door (hotel) renovation is extremely noisy and loud at times and can be extremely annoying as well but for all of the good things about Smyle Inn, it can be overlooked...or you can just go for a walk in the bazaar for some time. The prices are a little bit high but not enough to make it a deal breaker and other hotels in the area cost much more but are not nearly as good for the price. I very HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMYLE INN TO ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY! Enjoy your plesent stay at "SMYLE INN".

I just spent one night here while passing trough Delhi but can highly recommend this place for a short stay. The room was really small but super clean, the air condition worked very well (even in 43°C outside temperature) and it was surprisingly quiet at night - nothing of this being taken for granted in an accomodation of that price class in the middle of the bazar. The location was really convenient, less than 10 minutes walking from the New Delhi Railway station and less then 15 minutes drive from the sights of the old town. And in addition the hotel stuff - specially receptionist Manish - was outstanding, friendly and helpful at any time of the day, not trying to sell me anything at all but providing genuine recommendations, allowing a late check out without surcharge since it was so hot and I had a late flight so I could shower and cool down again before heading to the airport and even gifting me a metro card that was already charged so I did not had to care for anything when taking the metro in my short stay. Can highly recommend this place as a safe harbour in the hustle and bustle of Old Delhis city life.

Only the size of the room might be a bit to small for some people

Staff were very friendly. They organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport and walk us to the hostel which was helpful as we arrived late at night and it would have been difficult to find the property. They even walked us to an ATM that worked the next day. The rooftop breakfasts were free and good.

The showers were cold (even if staff turned on the hot water for the room) and although no fault of the property, note that the hotel is located down a small alleyway and you have to pass a public outside urinal which wasn’t the most pleasant experience every time you left or got back to the hostel.

Room and bathroom was small but clean. Wifi worked fine, it was nothing exceptional but it met my basic browsing needs. Breakfast was yummy and the staff serving breakfast were very kind and sweet. They were the best people. Other staff members did their job well. One thing to note is that this place is next to New Delhi Train station plus metro station and it is in main market. The location is central and the area is busy and dirty, but very functional. Overall for a few days this place and area are good.

Area can be overwhelming for first time visitor

Property is in small, dirty Ali road. You have to pass open urinal place on the left ,where man are pissing into urinal sink...it is smelly and highly unplesant... opposite hotel is a brothel located. Sim card seller next door did cheat my friend when she bought simcard from them. It stopped working after few days. But she was travelling and could not come back to the office. Breakfast is in different building on the roof. It was fine. I thing room was ok ,but too expensive to compare to other hotels in the area.

Room was too small for the price I payed. Breakfast cheap and poor. Ali road horrible.

This was my 2nd time here. I decided to return here after my Golden Triangle trip. After backpacking in India I still think that in New Delhi this hotel is the best option. It is near the railway station and 3 metro lines (airport, blue and yellow lines). The staff is always kind and very flexible with requests. The location is a good base to explore Delhi, to try street food or to do shopping in the bazaar. It is clean and the breakfast is very delicious. For me the most important thing was, that this place is not fake, it is exatcly what it is advertised.

Though the rooms have windows, they are tinted, so it is always dark inside. Also, the bathroom window does not close properly, and it makes the bathroom really cold (in January).

First of all, it is difficult to find a good price-value hotel in new delhi. The hotels are either overpriced or non egsistent (they have fake reviews, fake pictures, fake price). I can comfirm that this hotel truly exist: it looks like as on the pictures, it is located where it is pinned on the map and you pay the price which is indicated on booking.com. Before arrival you receive an email with instructions how to find the property. It is easy, just one alley from the main Bazar, 10 minutes walk from the airport metro. The staff is very kind also in the reception, as well as in the restaurant upstairs. The breakfast is included and it is different every day. The room is very clean and they provide towels, hand soap and toilet paper as well. On request there is hot water. The Wi-Fi works well in the room and there is also a television with good movies.

It can get a bit cold in the room in January, but there are some limited number of electric heaters at the reception to borrow for some hours to warm up the room.

I've been in Smyle Inn for the second time after spending 3 nights at my arrival in Delhi in October last year. This time Ive spent 5 nights here and again: Great location in the center of Paharganj and close to Old Delhi. Lovely staff Good breakfast included Hot water Pickup service from the airport for a reasonable price Travel office at 3rd floor Currency exchange SIM card service and ... and ... and So if you are looking for a clean guesthouse for a reasonable price you are right here. Nothing at all

We arrived at 2am by air, Smyle arranged our transfer and although we couldn't check in until 12 o'clock, they let us sleep in a waiting area, which was well needed. They also gave us breakfast free. The staff are amazing. We had heavy bags and bikes in boxes, and they helped us carry all our luggage and stored the bikes in a locked room, so we had no worries during our stay. The hostel is very clean. The staff always have a smile and are keen to help where they can. When we left, 2 members of staff accompanied us to the bus, helped with our luggage, and stayed until we were safely on the bus. I would highly recommend Smyle Inn.

This was already my second stay at this property. When it comes to best value hotel for a short stay in Delhi, I would definitely recommend smyle Inn. It’s overall clean. The bed sheets are fresh. The room was spacious and well equipped. The staff was very helpful. The WiFi was not working at one point. they actually took action and made it work within 1 hour. In general helpful and friendly staff.

I was a bit surprised about the extra charge of 600 INR for three hours early checkin . Otherwise everything was fine!
