We had booked a Valley View Room at Sterling Fern Hill for four days, and it was an absolutely beautiful stay! The view was truly breathtaking — one of the most mesmerizing sights we’ve ever experienced. The hospitality was exceptional, and the amenities were so good that we didn’t even feel the need to step out for sightseeing. It’s a wonderfully baby-friendly property — from readily available hot milk and baby kichadi to a fun kids’ play area, everything was thoughtfully provided 24/7. The property itself is stunningly designed, with charming gardens and cozy sit-outs that make it perfect for relaxation. Hot water and room warmers worked perfectly, adding to the comfort during our stay. The housekeeping team was excellent, keeping everything neat and pleasant throughout. Spa was too good and rejuvenating. A special mention to Ms. Manoyara and Ms. Alice, who went out of their way to offer personal attention and made sure we felt completely at home. Thanks Amay too. It was a wonderful experience! I travelled with my family, including my parents, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very cooperative and promptly changed our room as per our request, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. My parents especially had a great time — overall, a very pleasant and memorable stay!

Initially, the room allotted to us was in the basement and had a strong, unpleasant odor, which we did not expect. It was quite disappointing as it affected our first impression of the stay. We would suggest ensuring that basement rooms are better ventilated and freshened before guest check-in, or informing guests in advance about the room location.

Great experience overall

The bed needs to be changed. Could not sleep well in the bed as well as the sofa chin bed in the hall. Room balcony is close to each other. Can literally see into the bed room and jump over into the other balcony easily. Neighbors were singing and showing into early hours and we could not sleep

The location of the hotel was too good and the staff was very professional, the one who stood out was Saibal who was there to make sure we had everything we needed from start to end of our time there. Jaya too was very helpful.

BATHROOM was very small and didn't had continuous supply of hot water. The balcony was not clean and had bird poop on the chairs.

This was my second time I booked this hotel. We really enjoyed all the facilities, food. Staff is very humble and helpul.

Exhaust in my suite was making a lot of sound. Could have been repaired before arrival.

The valley view from our room was amazing. I have forgotten my watch in the room. Mr Sivakrishnaraman from engineering was very helpful to trace it and handedover back to me. Your beautiful garden maintenance and upkeep clearly reflect the hardwork and passion of your horticulture and engg team.

Sofa bed in the living should be design for better sleep comfort. Hot water system capacity was inadequate for family. It was taking little time.

Good location. Beautifully arranged flowers growing all over the hotel premises. Nice indoor activities. We had a good comfortable stay !

It syncs to the natural beauty so well with an amazing scenery of greenish mountain belts from most of the sides

The road access is bit hard along with the little bit exaggerated price

We had booked at Sterling Fern hill for our family vacation. We chose Premier rooms for our stay. We got rooms with valley views and the view every morning and evening was marvelous. The staff were very comfortable and addressed all our requests. The chef made delicious food for our 7-month old baby also.
