There are many good things about Hanging Huts but the best is the view. It is truly astounding. You can sit on the balcony and look at it for hours. In addition the birds that you can watch flitting about is very pleasant too. Hanging huts is a small resort, so you really feel at home, particularly as all the staff are kind and always smiling. The accommodation is very nice, clean, with a lovely for poster bed. The gardens are pretty and well maintained. We stayed here despite not having our own transport and Mr Gopal helped us organize a tour of the area. I would recommend a stay if you enjoy, peace, beautiful views and nature.

First day WiFi connectivity had some issues that was sorted out eventually. Breakfast complimentary if the house was full have to wait .waiting was worth for it was delicious and tasty 😋

Superb location, great view overlooking the tea plantation and the mountain in the distance. You may get wild animal sighting sitting in the balcony. Super quality breakfast, home made taste 😋. Great hospitality, unmatched experience. They know how to treat guests.

One will feel the summer heat in April and May. Early morning and evening are fine but hot during a sunny day. The room is small for family with kids. For couples it's manageable.

I went here with my family for a 3 day stay. Probably the best host I have ever seen. Right from Mr.Sathiyamoorthi checking on us regularly if we have arrived correctly to Ooty to Mr.GopalKrishnan (Manager) sending off us. I didn't find much reasons to complaint. The resort looks new for a 8 year old building. The ambience inside and outside the resort is so pleasant. It's located 20 mins drive on a small road from the main town. Please be prepared in case you need anything. Follow the instructions from host, they are very clear. You can enjoy the view if you can get there before the sunset. Yes it's located in a remote location but don't worry about food. They have a tasty and quality food than many other restaurants. I had 2 dinner and 2 breakfasts here and they were perfect. The complimentary breakfast is definitely worthy. A Special mention to Mr.Gopalakrishnan and others (Sanjeev, Rani, Arul, Maragatham) who helped us have a great vacation. They were such polite and helpful. I will definitely recommend it my friends and family.

Few suggestions if you can consider. 1) It's better if we have 1 more washbasin in the room as there is only 1 in the bathroom 2) A curtain can be put around the corner and used as a dressing room as there will be 5-6 people staying in the room with 1 bathroom 3) A small hanger for drying the towels

in general everything was nice, except the approach Mud road to the property, which was bad & dangerious. The staff were all very polite, helpful & friendly. They would look even more professional if they had an uniform dress code.......

The food menu didn't have HALAL FOOD-(non veg), & we were not able to order our required non veg food.

the location is great. secluded from the town and almost on the edge of a valley. so one can get unrestricted views. also can walk around in the tea estate adjoining the hanging huts. as conveyed to the team at hanging huts, while balcony and washrooms have abundant space somehow the room feels small esp when you travel with kids. food is good though limited in choices but that we saw is a trend across kotagiri.

One of the best stays we have experienced in past few years. The resort is away from busy city areas - so calm, peaceful. A wonderful drive through Coffee/Tea estates to the resort. The stay was very pleasant. The staff are very courteous, patient and willing to accommodate every request. The food (veg) was excellent - prepared in the kitchen and served hot!! The best thing about the resort was option of large room to accommodate 5-6 of family/friends instead of 2 rooms!! I definitely missed the camp fire - realized next morning the area and arrangement was too good Alas, i could only stay for 1 day/night! This needs atleast 2-3 days stay to fully enjoy your stay!

The caretakers of the property were very helpful and tended to our every need promptly. The food prepared for different meals was simple but amazing. We felt at home and would definitely like to visit again.

Last 200 metres stretch to reach the place is a little tricky but still manageable.

Cooperative staff, fantastic location, great food quality (veg I can comment), spacious rooms well maintained.... We family of 4 adults- husband, wide with 2 daughters ... stayed here in Executive suite for 2nights. ....- one of memorable.

Not disliking kind....but -given the location is on hill more stairs to climb,, -given they prepare fresh food for us, food order to room will take bit of time (but they do tell upfront request guests to order 60-90 mins before)

location is the catchy and friendly staff. clean and tidy. breakfast was tasty especially the sambhar, though the options were less.

pricy.. more people will turn if they reduce the price. please add more food options. Breakfast menu must be changed at least alternate days..
