Exceeded my expectation, Very scenic place, stay here, if you are looking for a resort facing tea estate. Great location, peacful and quite, beautiful view of tea estate from room and restaurant, cannot be better. Bisons can be seen from room always, birds chirping all the time. Well maintained garden, beautiful and artistic. Spacious restaurant, clean, with fantastic view, great food, served with enthusiasm and smile by Biplab, Pankaj and Chef Sujana. Ladies at reception were always helpful and nice, pre-check-in communication was quick and effective. Housekeeping by tall spectacled youngster made our stay comfortable in all ways, provided everything incl an extra table. Special mention to Shabeel for his estate ride in his jeep.

I booked the stay at Sunvalley for my parents who are both senior citizens. From the very beginning the staff were so friendly and helpful that my friends felt right at home. Going out of their way to ensure that guests feel comfortable is something that comes naturally to the staff at the hotel. Special mention to Mr. Raghav, who personally looked in to the well-being of my parents.

Absolutely nothing

The entire stay was very good. The food and drinks were amazing - breakfast particularly was out of the world. A special shout out to the lady chef who went out of her way to cater to our requirements. The service staff were also too good. I must also highly recommend the person manning the bar - he served us some wonderful cocktails. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. All the local sightseeing tours were handled very efficiently by the hotel team, to our utmost satisfaction. The surrounding areas were also so beautiful and tranquil - had a lovely stay and would highly recommend

We were a bit unhappy with the bathroom - it was somewhat cramped and the water pressure was too low. Although the housekeeping team did their best to keep it clean, it would have been great if it was more airier and less congested. In terms of location, it was a bit out of the way as the market is not within walking distance. The hotel facilities were quite good, no doubt but if you have to experience some local flavors or do some shopping, you will have to take a cab.

Kids friendly, beautiful flowers, friendly & awesome staff, south indian food & noodles were great, great ayuvedic massage, Soni(the pet dog). This place had ample amount of space and greenery. It has a Kids room with variety of toys, swings which kept my 20month old engaged. We had awesome time playing with Soni. We were able to get Kid specific food on demand.

Soni(the pet dog), was dirty. It would be great if you can give him a bath once in a while. The aloo parathas were too spicy. Suggestion: slightly overpriced compare ro facilities Bed and mattress was making all kind of noises.

The Ambience, Location, the Staff, the Food were all excellent. We were well greeted and we also had all facilities as was mentioned during booking. Overall, it was an excellent. The best of all was the Valley View. For me the TV Channels were also good enough to watch.

There was not much I did not like, but just that there was some water seepage in the wall above the cupboard and that had bubbles on the wall. It did not disturb me but was just an eyesore. This is Room 407, just in case the management wants to rectify it. Will not cost more that a 1000 bucks.

The place has a warm and friendly ambience.Its a v.inviting environ and it grows on you.The cleanliness,small detailings are noteworthy.The immaculate gardens are a balm for the eyes.Dhinesh and Shyma,the owners, have created a family like environment here which is so appealing.The view u wake up to is mesmerising.The winds on the trees is magical.Fantastic view from the restaurant.And super caring staff.definitely taking back some wonderful memories.

the approach to the property

Excellent location and views from the room. Very friendly staff and extremely quick service. The breakfast and dinner options were also excellent. Would definitely love to come back.

The last mile approach was very difficult. The listing on maps is not correct. It would be really helpful if they could add a couple of signboards along the way (only for the last 500 mtrs)

The food and hosts

The location or the ways leading up to the location We had a leaky bathroom and I personally found it small but it was too cold to shower anyways 😷

I like the location and view from hotel room..Tea garden view is superb.

Little bit tough in reaching the place but can be compromised once you reach the location.

Our stay at Sunvalley home stay was outstanding. The staff was exceedingly polite, and willing to help. The jeep ride to the tea estates was memorable. The food was great and tasted like good home cooked comfort food, they also had a very friendly golden retriever. Loved the premises and the room that overlooked the tea estates.
